War never ends...as long as mammals exist there will be conflict. It always comes to who controls resources, not per se their price, or whether they're even used.
As far as petrochemicals, we would still use oil for plastics that don't break down (unlike the hemp-originated variety) and other substances and materiel we use in our daily lives. If we're not fighting over the oil itself, then over whether it will be the major transportation energy source.
I would like a plug in flex fuel car so i can use E85 when i am not using electricity.
