i practically live on the wabash my grandpa and my great uncle fish it all the time we fished the powerplant by cayuga and we ran into them down there i heard one jumped to a women and mans boat and they hit it with a oar and weighed 30lbs

Well now. If you get a good sized one put him on your cutting board. Turn your oven on to 350 degrees to pre-heat. Cut the carps head off and disgard. Open his stomach and disgard the entrails. Generously rub the fish with room temperature butter. Cut the fins off and disgard. Season it with salt, pepper and a little lemon juice. Cut the tail off and disgard. Gently dust the body of the fish with corn meal and disgard. By now the oven should be hot. Bake the cutting board and eat that instead.

That beats the action in my rivers...maybe not the fight of our fish, but the only thing we got that jumps close to that is some big ole brown trout up and around 5 pounders...but they aint that leathal.
