It seemed like the pipes blew up and affected 3 of the 5 apt. units, Dane's place was one of the three - the building has a septic tank, as opposed to a sewer system.
Your cat is like "WTF is that thing?... Did you guys have some flooding, Did water end up going into the sewer system or something? at least it backed up into your tub!!
