You guys are both good singers, but listening to you hurt my throat!! You guys are both tightening your throats so much you're going to hurt yourselves. I had the same problem and I got nodes on my vocal cords and couldn't sing for 2 years!!! My vocal coach just helped me and I can finally sing again. You guys should both relax your throat before major problems begin!! Plus- when you relax, singing doesn't hurt, you can sing for longer periods of time & you can hit more notes!! All good things!!
