Easiest way to do this part of the mission is to first fill up on critical mass and spike graveyeard the hell out of the base (should take only two attempts and the spike graveyard is suited in taking down structures like bases or hives) then once you start chasing taggart and he "digs in" with tanks DO NOT USE THE HAMMERFIST!!! it is a waist of time instead use the blade power move where you use the special attack in the air. hold it down and you will have destroyed all the marked tanks easily

This guy made it far to hard for himself. Just nick a tank and blow it up straight away......why go around disabling stuff

i will give you the easist way to destroy the base...

first consume as a soldier then go to the base and sabotage all the viral detectors... and sneak in the base and look for a tank..

and the last one is a little risky..enter taggart's territory and destroy the base with the tank cannon!! this will only take 15 seconds! trust it much more safe and easier tahnk this walkthrough

it would be cool if they made prototype 2 and in it there would be another guy like Alex Mercer who is affected by the main virus.And in the game there would be all fights between those two and stuff.

Dude. This is the EASY part of the mission. Forget stealth. Run in, hijack a tank on the south side of the base, and unload on the base. I came here looking for assistance on the second part, only to see this absolute struggle with the first part. :/
