I'd lighten up on Eve. She's letting the love of her life go on a three-month bike trip through parts of the world that haven't even been properly charted, where tribal gunmen are the law, and many of them don't take kindly to foreigners. Yes it's important to support your spouse, but she's also thinking of their two kids. I know my wife would worry about me, and I would fully expect that. I don't think it's fair to get down on her just because she's worried.
