He was pretty good. I had my active party at 41. Vaan was using the Zodiac Spear, Ashe was using Claymore and Penelo was using Yochi Bow.

Took down his Rooks and he was easy. (Bubble helps alot, I had like 5,000 hp here w/ it)

you can get bubble and EVEN bubble belt from the clan provinsor i rabanastre. if you have deteated 12 mark and got around 30000 clan points: bubble can be buyed there. defeate 16 marks and get around 50000 clan points: then you can buy bubble belt.

Also I've been relying on a combo of Light Armor + Mystic Helms (and vice versa) instead of relying on Heavy Armor. Just adding to the challenge (it's how I did my solo penelo).

I'm doing the 122333 challenge and I am at this point in the game... My question: How did you get Fomalhault? Access to Cerobi Steppe before Archades is forbidden... then there is the Henne Mines (road to Zodiark) which contains a Fomalhault. I know Pharos & Lhusu Mines (in the room with that Mark... forgot its name) contains Fomalhaults... but I'm kinda struggling and I have been cause I'm too lazy to run through Necrohol with my current equipment.

throwing a relectga mote keeps the rooks from casting buffs on Dr. Cid. :)

how come bashes attack is so strong is hes only level 2.

my bashe at level 50 does 2000 max.

He is using a gun. Guns ignores defense, so I do much damage with my weapon. Guns are also best used in low level. High levels makes guns useless, IMO.
