Been thru all that. Not fun job. You would be wise to buy an Impact gun for those stubborn nuts. Saves a lot of time. Also you should have done the axle u-joints while you had it apart but good job otherwise. I'm gonna do my plenum soon also. another pain in da ass job but it;s kinda fun doin it yourself. Good luck.
WD40 is the wrong thing to use...it doesn't penetrate..it is not designed to do that....it is a water displacement/lubercation....next time try using a penetrating oil designed to penetrate rusty nuts and bolts...a great product is from England called simply "TRY THIS"..but might be hard to find in the USA..but you can find Liquid Wrench type products...but your video was informative.
@yeshua2come long as its solid front axle... its the same concept.. only thing that should be diffrent is smaller parts and the hubs are diffrent i think.
you should try air tools they make the job a whole lot easier and how about those axle nuts every time you take em off a 1500 they strip out but you gotta love your dodges
@68MUDSTUD They sure look a hell of alot better than the old ones lol. I had today off work so i started on my intake gaskets.......................... what a fucking pain in the ass. I bet the truck wont be up and running till the weekend. all the gaskets were shot. had antifreeze in the oil and oil in the antifreeze, oil in the intake so i gotta clean out the whole intake... yuck lol

Next time use Marvel Mystery Oil. Works wonders, and it broke many things loose that PB blaster would only dream of breaking loose.

The front nut is put on with 224 pounds of torque. They are always tough.

Maybe a video with you working on the truck would be better. not knocking your video but its kinda pointless to show the after and not the during.

I wonder how different the 3/4 ton front end is from the 1/2. I need to do mine soon and am researching as much as I can.

@yeshua2come some heat on that axle nut would of made it come off allot easier.... this is where a torch set comes in handy.
