About the tapes, I recorded them when Paolo did shows for GMA in 2003. How to convert them, I'm still asking around hoping to find an inexpensive way of doing it. The product SONY DVDirect seems easy to use. Check out the video entitled "new SONY DVDirect model VRD-MC3" uploaded by JaySunico.
