McCain, like Bush, believe America will get America back on its feet by abolishing the inheritance tax for people who have estates worth more $5 million.
We are in a slowdown. The economy was good, the economy has been bad for the American working class but good for Wall Street and China and the left that supports bringing in illegals to lower our wages.
the bilderberg group stands behind these politicians from both sides and this whole election thing is just a circus to make us believe there`s a choice and democracy, but no, it is a bilderberg group set up. please america pay attention, the bilderberg group is something very real and means no good with you or your family, killing you and your love ones is only a side effect for them to achieve there goals. dont believe your tv, get informed, look up the Biderberg group
The flags displayed in State courts and courts of the United States have gold or yellow fringes. That is your WARNING that you are entering into a foreign enclave, the same as if you are stepping into a foreign embassy and you will be under the jurisdiction of that flag. The flag with the gold or yellow fringe has no constitution, no laws, and no rules of court, and is not recognized by any nation on the earth, and is foreign to you and the United States of America.
McCain didn't mention that both he and Bush champion the elimination of Social Security in favor of Private Retirement Accounts tied to our Stock Exchanges.
McCain is a joke. His flip flops coupled with his furious tirades and a promise to keep us in Iraq for 100 years are not the way forward.
We have been facing economic difficulties for quite sometime, but it was not until a couple months ago did McFury acknowledge these economic difficulties, but he also said that economics was not his forte.
McFury's idea of moving us forward through this turmoil is to maintain the status quo.
many vets who were on Vietnam with Mc Cain say he is a traitor. There is even a site about it. God this guy had his mind wiped twice and we want him for president? Hahahahaha If he is actually elected we deserve it.
I don't find CNN to be particularly liberal. I discredit the majority of people to even understand the nuances of bias.
With Fox, it's obvious, unless it's what you want to hear. MSNBC definitely trends more liberal, but only on their commentary shows like Countdown. The tone on MSNBC is one of political savvy. They tend to talk "shop" the best about the politics and they almost always have equal voices.
CNN trends "middle" in my view. I don't think this was very informative, TPM.
I would say that CNN is more conservative of late. MSNBC is far more balanced in their programing then Fox. The only liberal on Fox is Alan Colms where as MSNBC has Joe Scarborough, Rita Cosby, Tucker Carlson etc.
OK...so I'm a liberal guy, but I recognize the battle between CNN and fox. CNN is VERY liberal, and has been sliding towards liberal for awhile now. To say they're pandering to the right is rediculous. We may want to think that media can transcend bias, but the tail wags the dog.
why you no learn englisch first then maybe typo better. True you no know how to speako englisch. buyO hooked on Phonics to help you speakO better.
Seriously you need better typing skills, you type like a complete sped. Why don't you get medical records so then maybe they can diagnose you with Down Syndrome...
Obama did release his medical records. He's healthy in every way. Who gives a fuck if he has an STD. My friend got herpes from his wife, should that be political fodder?
If the news outlets' job is to report what the politicians say, then they are doing fine. But if they are supposed to dig down anywhere beneath the surface and cut past the obvious bull, then they are clearly failing. That was like a political ad. That report was on the fluff cycle.
Wow, this is one of the most disingenuous pieces of reporting that I've EVER seen outside of Fox. This is just shameful. CNN is definitely on the take right now.
I stopped watching CNN after they folded to Bush's "request" that American media "be responsible" and not look too deeply into WHY terrorists were motivated to attack the US in 2001. People who are afraid to look at uncomfortable truths are useless as news sources in difficult times.
cnn iw one of the most obective news channels around.Sure they don't allwasy have time to cover all the issues but there sure are a a lot better then left leaning crap like Veracifier
I thought it was a some what fair analysis, although they did put a lot more emphasis on the differences which are on minor issues compared to the similarities. At least they aren't stepping in line with fox's newly coined "Obama is arrogant" attacks, yet.
I think it was an honest enough report. CNN does have biases, but I find that the people on their programs are about fairly evenly split on the red/blue lines. This isn't Fox News we're talking about here...
Even so, bringing up Iraq in that piece would have seriously undermined the point that the report was trying to make. I don't condone it, but I can understand why the action was taken.
Weaseldog2001: I can appreciate the point you are making...in all of your comments. I would like to point out that, unfortunately, the price of oil and the war, while they may seem hand-in-hand with each other, it appears they really aren't. Check out - watch?v=AdRbuUQNcxw - when you get a chance...it sheds light on the nightmare our country is in store for...
nanquan491: I've heard both of these arguments from the right and I was hoping perhaps you could clarify since you're over there. We're there fighting so the terrorists don't come here or are we fighting for their [Iraqi] democracy? Why would they need to come here? We willingly ship 1000's of Americans for them to kill right there on their own soil. As far as democracy is concerned, I seem to recall another world leader who forced his views on others and invaded countries to get his way...
I am hoping that more Americans are realizing that we do not have a choice in the president election: McCain and Obama are from two groups that work for the same team just with different t-shirts.
Too simplistic. Although presidents are limited in what is politically possible for them to do, a president's individual inclinations and personality do make a difference. Obama to all appearances is a healthier man than McCain, and world opinion chooses Obama as well.
You're such an authoritarian on everything volumptuous... so far according to you I'm a lover of dead children, war for the sake of it, and now I'm a closet homosexual as well... what's next, you're gonna call me a 'neocon'? LMAO :D
You're nothing but a liberal clown... honestly man, I'm just laughing at your pitiful comments haha
nanquan: lol, he who laughs last, laughs best. McCain is going down, Obama is gonna win, and the war is going to be brought to a sensible close. Of course, Obama will go along with the oil concessions, but that can't be helped. A McCain presidency would be a disaster for the country in so many ways. It's all gonna work out, no matter how many nasty comments and smear tactics you guys use. Way too many people are on to ya.
some: nothing, really, but you've got to remember you've got republicans who have no game nor much chance of winning. for that reason, they've got to try to say that all liberals are gay, etc., as a way of trying to cast aspersions on liberal arguments, presentations, etc. gay-bashing is a favorite activity of repubs, especially of those repubs who are closet cases!!
People need to wake up, CNN, foxshit, all most of them never asked good questions when Bush wanted to sell this war. Dont believe this shit this year, you need to do your own research fuck, dont sit and watch cnn and foxshit, you have youtube and google this year. Only Dumb ass and lazy motherfuckers will vote for MCBUSH This year.
nanquan your the cower motherfucker in here, i mean do you wanna stay in iraq you son of bitch, send your son, daughter or yourself, and go to iraq. More than 4500 soldier die for your lies.
He's right. 4500 of our soldiers dead, so you can have your precious and immoral occupation. But then again, to you the thought of dead innocent Iraqi kids brightens your day, so what can we expect?
Yes you're right... I've finally been exposed! Now if you excuse me I'm gonna go cut off the head of a goat and drink it's blood... muhahahahahaha! *evil laugh*
No, I'm posting from my house.. what's your point? You can't support the war unless you're actually there fighting it? Do you expect president Bush himself to take up arms too? :D
nanquan: Lol, I see - you got a little defensive there, didn't you? Actually, we _don't_ expect the u.s. prez to take up arms, but you're a different ballgame. It's not that a person shouldn't make an argument that we should stay - reasonable people have differences of opinion. But you completely give up any legitimacy by insinuating that anyone who disagrees with you is some sort of nut. I'm guessing if you had to go to Iraq right now, your enthusiasm for the war might be reduced!!
Wow, you actually showed substance and McCain's policy stands. Piss on the first bit, where you necessitate a 'now we insert the suppository of spin,,' Thanks
McCain '08.
Three reasons to support McCain: The Supreme Court, The Supreme Court, The Supreme Court.
When are you people gonna realize that running away from out problems isn't the answer?! Of course we should stay in Iraq.. I don't even understand how people are still debating this fact. Stop being such a bunch of cowards and defeatist wimps. All you people do is whine to each other and now you wanna elect, basically, some inexperienced kid named Obama as president.. not surprising since your mentality is that of kids.
Wake up America, The media controls most of mainstreams news source, and some of them will only let you see what they want you to see, Just dont believe the hype, is a sequel.
I'll take the "big joke" moniker over what you are; Someone who loves the idea of Iraqi children forced into the sex industry because of our illegal and immoral occupation of their country.
lol honestly it's a waste of time to even *try* and reason with you people. So what's your agenda for calling the war an "immoral occupation" ? That sounds like something from the arab-muslim rule book... where did you immigrate from?
nanquan: you do of course realize that your comments stay up where people can read them, lol?? it's obvious you are not interested in "reasoning" with anyone. The occupration of Iraq can't be justified. It's a waste of money, it's a neocon agenda that ought not be pursued, and/or it's a deal for Bush oil cronies that will put us in a de facto occupration for two decades. Why on earth would you want an occupation of Iraq - it makes no sense.
However, one of them wants to outlaw those things unilaterally, on a federal level, because he has a god complex. The other believes the two issues should be decided by the states, based on their own communities.
One believes that in some cases the federal government should butt out, whereas the other has never listened to a lower level of government because he can't share his authority with anyone.
Anyone with a brain will take what the media says with a grain of salt, about either candidate. Those people with a brain can also see that McCain is clearly McSame.
lol.. typical liberal loon comeback! When your lunacy and blindness is being called out, all you can do is come back with silly name calling. I know you don't want a reality check, but you know just as well deep down that all those things about Obama are true. The truth hurts I know... be a MAN a take it! :D The funny thing is, as an Obama supporter you are all those things you accused me of being. Look up the term "projection" in relation with psychological terminology haha
hahahaha lmao! I love this cookie cutter response from you people... *come on, be my teacher! Show me the proof... I have no clue what you speak of!!* :D You people really are something! Like I'm gonna waste my time now "educating" a lib-loon.
Anyone with half a brain and some common sense can see right through Obama and his bullshit and lies. You're welcome to watch the following video: watch?v=zUdjhKbImwE
And if you still want to kid yourself, it's a further testiment to your lunacy.
I am actually not far-left or far-right or any other label you need. I asked for evidence to back up your statement, and you had/have nothing. Evidently, you are the one with your head so far up your ass you have shit for brains. I am having a nice day, a very nice day. Thank you.
honestly this is CNN's sad attempt at being balanced, just do what's natural and right, just lean left CNN, just lean left.

Just say no to McCain.

Deweydecible 3 years ago
I would say that CNN is more conservative of late. MSNBC is far more balanced in their programing then Fox. The only liberal on Fox is Alan Colms where as MSNBC has Joe Scarborough, Rita Cosby, Tucker Carlson etc.

OK...so I'm a liberal guy, but I recognize the battle between CNN and fox. CNN is VERY liberal, and has been sliding towards liberal for awhile now. To say they're pandering to the right is rediculous. We may want to think that media can transcend bias, but the tail wags the dog.

I think it was an honest enough report. CNN does have biases, but I find that the people on their programs are about fairly evenly split on the red/blue lines. This isn't Fox News we're talking about here...

Are you posting from a military base?
Weaseldog2001 3 years ago
No, I'm posting from my house.. what's your point? You can't support the war unless you're actually there fighting it? Do you expect president Bush himself to take up arms too? :D
nanquan491 3 years ago
nanquan: Lol, I see - you got a little defensive there, didn't you? Actually, we _don't_ expect the u.s. prez to take up arms, but you're a different ballgame. It's not that a person shouldn't make an argument that we should stay - reasonable people have differences of opinion. But you completely give up any legitimacy by insinuating that anyone who disagrees with you is some sort of nut. I'm guessing if you had to go to Iraq right now, your enthusiasm for the war might be reduced!!
nicholas9999 3 years ago
Bush might've learned something about what he does if he didn't go AWOL to snort coke and drink up liquor stores.
And no. You can't really support a war by posting on the internet.
What you're doing here, does nothing for the war.
But it does prove that it doesn't really mean anything to you. It proves you're a hypocrite.
But there are a lot of cowards that are proud that brave men and women are killing and dying to stroke their egos.
You're a coward with no skin in the game.
Weaseldog2001 3 years ago
I take some of that back.
You are helping the war.
But you're hurting hurting America and you're working to harm and kill US soldiers in a meaningless war.
I've heard the argument that our soldiers have to keep dying there forever, to give the deaths we've seen so far, meaning. I disagree.
Their deaths have meaning. They died for your ego and pride. They died to drive up the price of oil.
Yes, you're supporting the ongoing slaughter of human beings.
You told me once, you'd enlist sooon.

Yes, they both oppose abortion and gay marriage.
