@cobracongo The thing that I see with labels is that you have people running the record labels who know nothing about music. It's been that way for about 20 years. These days, record labels are run by business men and bean counters who rely only on the bottom line and profit margins. There are no true record men at major labels- they're all going indie. It's kind of sad because a lot of great hip hop labels got killed off that way (See: Loud, Rawkus, Priority, etc.).
