  • haha the first riff is just a slow version of FBM, but that doesn't make it any less awesome.

  • 0:50 Those bends sound awesome. Are you just using power chords there?

  • This is their late 90's style :D

  • 5 people missed the like button

  • Man I like this. Very cool.

  • Meshuggah on a strat!!!! Nice

  • Really? Did you listen to the fucking recording? Obviously the dude knows how to play the song and has a good tone for it. The only thing you can play is the skin flute so go get some practice you turd

  • First of all hes not even playing a Fender guitar. It's a strat copy so all you "Fender Purists" Can calm the fuck down. Also I do believe lots of people have used Fender or strat style guitars to play metal music so who gives two fucks what kind of guitar hes playing. That shit means nothing if it sounds good.

You should also brush up on your english grammar if youre going to try and argue with someone over the internet.

  • At the time my Fender Strat (w/ DiMarzio humbs) and RG Ibanez were at my band's rehearsal place and I was so anxious to do a demo for my POD 2.0 (bought on the same day) that I couldn't wait to get them back. So I tried to make a decent sounding preset for single coils and make a session out of that. Normally I wouldn't play this type of music with single coils

  • @kimkikki i know this is 4 months old, but you're a complete idiot. so you are saying that if someone has a guitar with single coil pickups, they cant play certain types of music? so are people with dual coil unable to play whatever is is that is for the single coil players? what if i couldnt afford a better guitar, im not allowed to play good metal just because of the pick ups or the fact that it may be a fender?

  • @kartman1751 damm man where did you bought your ears?

you still can't find a difference beetwen single or humbuckers pickups?

they are just two different worlds, and i'm not exagerating, such as the classical and acustic guitar.so try to wash better your ear,or maybe do an ear course.

but even me,in the far first month of playing, had this kind of problems.

no offence, but try to be more cordial,is very constructive

  • @kimkikki i didnt say i cant hear the difference... and what the hell is an "ear course"? learn some english before you try to insult me.

i know the difference between them. that doesnt mean that you cant play certain genres of music. it means some go better with metal and some go better with other stuff. ive had a $100 with single and a $900 guitar with humbuckers. i understand but that doesnt mean you can tell people that they arent aloud to play what they want to. its music not politics

  • Legit!

  • nice man!

  • Dude i came into watch this expecting to see albolsute bullshit on a strat but you actually managed to pull that shit off!! Fair play! 5*

  • if you don't crank up the gain as much as the average metal guitarist, this should be no problem.

  • its hard to get that heavy sound without hums but good job

  • Hard to get that heavy sound without humbuckers? I've never encountered a problem with that.

  • Excellent! Meshuggah could use this as a tip for future work!

  • thx. The video rez was orignally 176x144, funny that it hasn't been an issue for you viewers :)

  • Well fucking done , I really enjoy this. Good shit.

  • Is this played in Drop F#?

  • It's Bb standard all the way for the rhythms.

  • you must have some serious mixes to get that much djent out of a strat. well done though

  • Good shit man, really well done

  • that is fuckin beef man, well done1!!!

  • cool riffing but buy new guitar :D

  • the continuation of destroy erase improve

    great shit man!!! respekt!!!

  • what gauge of string and what tuning??

  • I think that's C standard and in the last part C standard with dropped Bb. The strings are D'addario EXL110 (10-46)

  • using only 10's... wow i cant tune that low with 10's.. strings feel to sloppy

  • You detune it with a program?

  • Well, it was quite sloppy but I played it anyway. No detuners were involved.

  • dudes... this riffs are fucking awesome :D but some parts sound like future breed machine...around 30sec also the rythmic guitar from your first riff ^^

  • Dude very nicely done, fucking amazing bro !!!

  • that was fucking wicked

  • Very nice

  • what settings do you have on your pod?

  • your fucking cool, nice job.

  • This was fucking insane stuff man. How did u make your strat sound this way?

  • That guitar there is a cheap strat copy with normal single coil pickups. No mods. I used Line6 POD 2.0 straight to my computer. You should hear my better guitars with the Pod :)

  • what software do yoou use?

  • I use Cakewalk Sonar for my projects. It's a good sequencer IMHO. For me it has been easy to use. The drums were created with ezdrummer plugin with DFH (drumkit from hell) expansion.

  • yea i just finshed intalling dfh superior its awesome/ huge

  • Damn that was i nice dist. from a strat. What kind of equipment do you use? Have u modified the start?

    Fucking awsome stuff as well.

  • Thanks! :) Oh, by the way: I usually double my rhythm guitar so I record it separately to left and right. For this I used two different amp models for rhythm sounds.

  • Nice sound and technic playing!
