I love her former voice sounds like icy pure snow more. But I've heard that kind of way of singing can hurt throat. And now she became more major pop singer. I guess she changed her voice to more sweet sound :)

@gitmantube The pianist is Tord Gustavsen who now has his own group which includes the bass player (Harald Johnsen) and drummer (Jarle Vespestad) you see here. I saw them a few times with Silje and then without her and they were brilliant every time. Jarle is still in her band (at least he was last time they came to the UK which is far too long ago!) Sorry don't remember the name of the guitarist, but check out the original with Silje and Pat Metheny :)

Thanks for posting. I love this song. Just wanna know why her voice sounds so different now. The difference is very obvious. I'm not saying it sounds worse or better. It just sounds different. Compare her voice here with her voice from her 1990 MTV so you'll know what I'm talking about.

It is from a cd from 1990 on which Pat Methany singed on a cd from Silje.

In fact the cd is called "Tell me where you're going. The original is thus from Silje.
