one tip: always carry an umbrella, that way, if it rains....you'll be prepared and it wont make you feel horrible throughout the rest of the day. I actually love rain but getting soaked and squelching around like creature of the black lagoon is never a good look. If you keep an umbrella on you it will also uplift the mood - you can stay dry and chilled out while everyone else darts about trying to find shelter.

What I did to make my self feel more confident might be a little weird but seriously, it was one of the best desicions of my life: I dyed my hair turquoise. I've always wanted turquoise hair, but I used to be really insecure and I cared way too much about people's opinion on me, that's why I never dyed it. But one day I just did it. And I loved it, but I was really nervous about what the people at school would think. Well...

... the next day at school everyone stared at me and people were bitching about my hair and stuff. I hated it, but my friends were really supportive and I tried to ignore everyone who told me my hair looked ridiculous.

I had turquoise hair for about two months, then I ran out of hair dye and I had to dye my hair back to a "normal" colour (cherry red :)). I gained so much confidence in those two months, it's incredible. Also, I became a lot more spontaneous.
