Those swipes reminds me of the movie "Predator 2" where he goes into the meat locker that has been laid as a trap for him. But the tech guys are still in there and one makes a sound . So the Predator switches from thermal to infrared to something else. Then he sees the Lights from the humans gear and he goes " Haaaaaaaaghhh!" as if ah ha!
the taps crew said that they just couldnt prove this footage either way that they would post it for others to make their own decision. i personally think it was brian with the black sheet they use on the table (during reveal). even during the debunking portion after evidence review he acted to obvious. Back to watch GH for me.
If this footage was faked, it had to be in post production, because the apparition is not solid, and when Brian tried to debunk it, he was clearly solid and easily visible even in the black cloak.
It also appears (if you're really watching) out of thin air. It doesn't walk to the camera. It suddenly appears and walks away.

I have seen other videos of this footage and it looks like the demon has light reflecting off its right side and then you can see what looks to be a head. This one is creepy because demons are black, shadowy mists and thats exactly what this appears to be! That scares the crapola out of me that these things are real!
i've a actually investigated this prison with my team and there's no where to run your on the 3rd tier and there's no exit up there other then behind the camera where the door is so and it's not a long hall way so if it was someone there you'd see them walk around the other side this is 100% real

I think it was a guy trying to trick TAPS. I saw this episode, and TAPS had already found that one of their cameras had been tampered with to make it seem like a blanket was moving on it's own. This was most likely another trick.
Although this is true, the tampering went on when there were other people inside of the hotel, but there was no one else at this prison besides taps. just a thought.
I think the footage is real. Notice when GH tried to recreate it but the crew member could not run because it was to dark and he was running into the walls. Also keep in mind that it would be to dangerous if they slept and fell over the rails. This is the most real Ghost Hunting show out there but there are jerks who like to give a bad response to anything as long as it make them feel good. GO SEEK HELP!!!!! WTG Ghost Hunters. I love ghost hunters and I believe they are true and honest when dealing with the paranormal. I believe in spirits as well as many other things. This clip I believe was staged by someone at the prison. I think Taps new it was staged but couldn't come right out and say it was because legal reasons. You can clearly see the pant leg and even taps members made comments on it. Why would a ghost in a prison be wearing pants or a black cloak for that matter? You'd expect a uniform or prison wear?
and where was GRANT when this so call Ghost was filmed. They went back there a second time and set up the camera in the same spot and got nothing because Grant was kept in front of the cameras so he could not slip away I wish they would get rid of Grant he makes this show unbelieveable like Most Haunted with Derick
At 1:34 I can see alot more than that. It's nothing more then a person under a hood wearing shorts and tennis shoes. Ghost Hunters (T.A.P.S.) is the real deal. I am a huge fan. Pretty much everything they catch they attempt to debunk. Some of their evedence after examening and debunking they find wasnt real, and others they cant explain. Although alot of the thing they catch are, yes. electrical and NOT paranormal but when they find this they realize it righ away. Do not say that all they do and find is Bull Shit because it really isnt.

i've read heard several encounters with demonic hooded beings similar to this one. usually the demon is very short and appears as a black mass that's darker than the dark and most of the time they're hooded. the lord of the rings part with the hooded beings on the horses is what i think of when i hear these sort of experiences.

update to previous comment. At [1:35] there is a third figure enjoying the action in the oppisite side of the hall walk way. you can see only the head while the rest of the body is blocked out by the rail gaurd side of the cam.
look close in pause mode at [1:34] and notice two other see thru figures. one in front of the cam entering the cell and the other at the oppisite side of the walk in a slightly dark form; - look for a round head and body shape-as its dark figure seems to not blend with the walls surounding its shape. also you can see this figures head move in play mode at [1:34] as for the figure in front of the cam. notice a dark line that surrounds this human shape.
I have been to Eastern State many times. Hubby took a tour as part of a class before they even thought about opening it for the general public. Don't believe everything you see. Young college kids are the tour guides and they pull pranks like this all the time.

There's definitely something there, but what? What is a ghost, really? I think science needs to give this way more weight. This needs to be WAY better understood, and not "de-bunked"... Until the science community pulls its head out of its nether regions, we will always be left with questions.

Ever wonder why their evps show up on their recorders but not the show audio? It's because they edit out the voices of the crew on the show audio but not the TAPS audio. They get presented as EVP's. Ever wonder why they don't validate their thermal work with infrared? Because their thermal hits are members of the crew that walk around.

You can also see something like white shoes at 00:32 thru 00:34 seconds. I have been looking at other footage&you can see a "head" appear from behind a covering and also seems to be holding a light in its right hand! WHY TAPS? What the "fetch" is wrong with you guys if you are lying to us??? I still watch even when there isn't a haunting cuz its so interesting to watch what they do! Are all the big places they go to faked? Like the chair that moved in the lighthouse? My hearts broken! Boo-who!

Yea, I know, me again! But I am obsessed with this and I have been watching it again and you can see the "head" at 00:36 seconds! I have been watching this frame by frame and WOW! It really makes a difference on what you can see and make out! I wonder if its the producers that are faking this stuff? I have seen other videos of this footage and it looks like the demon has light reflecting off its right side and then you can see what looks to be a head. This one is creepy because demons are black, shadowy mists and thats exactly what this appears to be! That scares the crapola out of me that these things are real!

i've a actually investigated this prison with my team and there's no where to run your on the 3rd tier and there's no exit up there other then behind the camera where the door is so and it's not a long hall way so if it was someone there you'd see them walk around the other side this is 100% real

I think it was a guy trying to trick TAPS. I saw this episode, and TAPS had already found that one of their cameras had been tampered with to make it seem like a blanket was moving on it's own. This was most likely another trick.

I think the footage is real. Notice when GH tried to recreate it but the crew member could not run because it was to dark and he was running into the walls. Also keep in mind that it would be to dangerous if they slept and fell over the rails. This is the most real Ghost Hunting show out there but there are jerks who like to give a bad response to anything as long as it make them feel good. GO SEEK HELP!!!!! WTG Ghost Hunters. I love ghost hunters and I believe they are true and honest when dealing with the paranormal. I believe in spirits as well as many other things. This clip I believe was staged by someone at the prison. I think Taps new it was staged but couldn't come right out and say it was because legal reasons. You can clearly see the pant leg and even taps members made comments on it. Why would a ghost in a prison be wearing pants or a black cloak for that matter? You'd expect a uniform or prison wear?

At 1:34 I can see alot more than that. It's nothing more then a person under a hood wearing shorts and tennis shoes. Why else would a ghost stop short and turn around--- why not just run right on past the camera. I'll tell you why it's not a ghost. It's a real person just trying to get one over on TAPS. Ghost Hunters (T.A.P.S.) is the real deal. I am a huge fan. Pretty much everything they catch they attempt to debunk. Some of their evedence after examening and debunking they find wasnt real, and others they cant explain. Although alot of the thing they catch are, yes. electrical and NOT paranormal but when they find this they realize it righ away. Do not say that all they do and find is Bull Shit because it really isnt.

just because they were unable to re-create it doesn't mean its fake.i remember this episode also.if you pay attention,it's impossible for it to be an actual person pulling a hoax.too much blank space where a person would be.they actually did attempt to see if a real person could have produced the same effect and it wasn't possible.Ghosts,spirits,demons are all very real and sometimes we are lucky to catch them on a level that we couldnt see otherwise.people should stop razzing shows like this

i've read heard several encounters with demonic hooded beings similar to this one. usually the demon is very short and appears as a black mass that's darker than the dark and most of the time they're hooded. the lord of the rings part with the hooded beings on the horses is what i think of when i hear these sort of experiences.

:26 seconds and then again at :37 seconds. Try and watch the area just to the right of 5th white pole along the walkway. You can see a dark mass run up towards the camera, stop half way, and run back.

update to previous comment. At [1:35] there is a third figure enjoying the action in the oppisite side of the hall walk way. you can see only the head while the rest of the body is blocked out by the rail gaurd side of the cam.

look close in pause mode at [1:34] and notice two other see thru figures. one in front of the cam entering the cell and the other at the oppisite side of the walk in a slightly dark form; - look for a round head and body shape-as its dark figure seems to not blend with the walls surounding its shape. also you can see this figures head move in play mode at [1:34] as for the figure in front of the cam. notice a dark line that surrounds this human shape.

i always wondered the same thing, why havent' any of the crew picked up the shadows or entities, they are filming in the same direction as the (actor). And also the sounds, voices, whispers. instead we get music, they are all playing a sound like a telephone ringing, all of the shows. copycats. Jason and Grant please film yourselves, dont renew contract. keep it real if your real ghost hunters.

This show is for entertainment purposes only. I think the field of paranormal research would do far better after these guys are off the air. Ever wonder why their evps show up on their recorders but not the show audio? It's because they edit out the voices of the crew on the show audio but not the TAPS audio. They get presented as EVP's. Ever wonder why they don't validate their thermal work with infrared? Because their thermal hits are members of the crew that walk around.
