I was a gambler and met people just like this. I did not have access to alot of money, so I did not get into the trouble that others have. The point is not to put blame outside of ourselfs, but to so see how we use each others weakness for self gain, Why is there suffering, why is there child abuse etc. Maybe people are gambling because they have no self worth, if not why, and why would other exploit that and use it for self gain, which makes them no better than a abuser themselves.

Why do documentaries dealing with problem gamblers always make compulsive gamblers out to be the ones to be sympathized with and helped, and make the casinos out to be the bad guys, while if someone's a smoker, it's nobody's fault but their own. =/

@cc5689 Because gamblers are manipulated psychologically using research funded by billion dollar corporations into playing and losing. The ordinary person doesn't stand a chance against the science and research the manufacturers of these machines have access too. If you don't think every aspect of the gaming rooms, machines and games isn't carefully designed and implemented to fleece you you are dreaming.
