i love to see big kids a new pc but with about hp pc cunputer that have no voide cards in tham
with can i do with it now i now no that you can put one in . but is it going to be good to play games on it plee can you do a a video on it . think you
Is it better to install the cpu and everything on the motherboard before putting it in your case? Asking coz the motherboard bends a bit due to the risers when you push hard on something like ram
Also - Is it ok just to use the thermal pad that comes on the stock cpu cooler ? or is it better to take it off and apply thermal grease :S
@XanEism its easier to install the CPU, fan and ram BEFORE you put it in the case, however the motherboards are very strong and wont break. The stock thermal paste will do fine, but if you want to overclock i recommend arctic silver 5 thermal compound.
@valentass88 did I mention it was my first build and I'm 13? I wanted to do it right. Now I could build one in no time. How old are you guys and how many have you built?
Alright it was more like 2 hours and I took a dump and ate some food.
Smarter to use the 790fx. The new 890FX is a shortlived and dated chipset. When the 8 core cpu comes out you will see the the 990FX chipset and get the Bulldozer Zambezi will only use the new 990FX CHIPSET cause of the 24gb quad channel memorey configuration.
ok sorry for the misunderstanding make that 10 mins to unbox, 20 to build, and 20 to do cable management, thats still only 50 min, I lay everything out ready for when it needs to be put in. I'm just saying that 6 hours is way too long to build a computer in my opinion.
Great video !! I have the same motherboard, xfx videocard and a few days ago I bought the processor (my first AMD processor).....but I have a question:
The gray thing below the stock fan....is the thermal paste? If that is correct, do you recommend to use it ? or buy another like artic silver?
@mefisto1504 the pad on the copper part of the heat sink is a stock thermal compound, i highly recommend you use Arctic Silver 5 because it much better then what AMD uses. All you need to do is take of the stock pad with some rubbing alcohol and make sure you dry it after. If you have any other questions just PM me.

i have a question: why does it take 6 hours to build?
wodka450 3 months ago
@wodka450 about 2 hours of tedious cable management and had problems with the front panel headers
1domeso 3 months ago
3 months to save up for the stuff, 5 hours to build, and a long time of fun after that.

I can do that in 45 mins or less.

6 hrs is way overkill. You won't need more than 1,5hrs in hurry and 2-3 with love. :)

@gauchero no..... i have no idea how you would build a computer in half an hour, thats complete bullshit.

@1domeso
1. There's no need for profanity
2. I built my new pc a day ago, and it only took me 20 mins to put it together and another 20 for cable management.

@gauchero i really find i hard to believe you built a computer in 20 mins, it took me 10 min just to unbox all the parts!

Not bad man, but isn't a 1000w kind of a overkill as all parts are growing more energy efficient?

@Sindorai im going to be using a crossfire setup in September, i need the more power for expansion options.
