First, If you listen to their other songs you will hear that it IS in fact metal.

Secondly, they sing in elder norwegian, the language the vikings spoke.

THE BAND might be viking metal in general, but this song is not, and that's what I meant.

And the language might be the same as the vikings spoke, but as i wrote THE LYRIC is not from the viking age.

the language is not the one vikings spoke... this is modern norwegian. The vikings spoke old norse.wich is quite similar to modern icelandic. just so u know

It should be "æ", not "ж". And æ is pronounced like the a in "bad" (in English). But, in the song it's pronounced like "kveld", where the "e" is pronounced like in "bed". "Di" in "diset" is pronounced like the letter d ("dee").

So "d-set kveld". Pressure on the d in d-set.

btw. when she sings "widely room" - the words for wide and white sounds alike in norwegian, so it can mean either. Room (rom) can mean a room as translated but also like the sky or "space".

actually the lyrics are fro ma Knut Hamsun poem from 104, written in danish-norwegian:

Ergo, here she is is saying in the "wide space", as in "wide skies".
