I like to do things like this with my players. Have illusions all over the place. I even keep track of what they passed up when one of them picked up a 'short sword of fire +1', only to figure out they were holding a poison snake. They have missed 1,938 GP, 6 Silver, and 12 Copper of wealth..... >:-}
seriously have a drizzt do'urden figurine? hhmm, i have a bunch of Lloth spiders and etc but didn't think they had him, anyone read his books(R.A. Salvatore)....love the vid, lmao, thanks for taking the time to make
There are two versions of Drizzt in D&D minis. You can find him the the Archfiends set and in the the Legend of Drizzt Scenario Pack. I actually got mine in a random booster of Archfiends.
awesome....what are the best places for a variety of the booster packs? i know gaming stores but none really good near me...walmart/target, anywhere really good? hehehe
some miiniatures have numbers and stuff on the bottom .i dont get that part but this is my first time playing the game, but anyway awesome vids looking forward to #8
congrats friend, thats a amazing work! so funny! i have a question: the black plastic thing in the intro, like a "sprue", is a sprue from plastic pieces or its a measure thing ?
Yeah, I use some old Dwarven Forge MasterMaze walls. When I was developing my show, I shot a scene using just MasterMaze (no Dungeon Tiles), and I kept accidentally shifting the MasterMaze floor pieces between shots. It was just to easy to nudge 'em while I was moving minis around. I had a brainstorm and decided to go with Dungeon Tiles lined with the MasterMaze pieces turned backwards.
I send all my digital photos into Adobe Premiere Elements 4. It's certainly not top of the line movie maker software, but it does allow me to do very precision 'lip-synching' with my minis.
I appreciate the constructive criticism. The first episode is basically me talking to myself for six minutes. I'm going to get a lot of my friends to be voice actors, however, so the voices in future episodes will sound much more diverse. I'll have actual females voicing the female supporting characters.
My female XP Hunter is supposed to have a male voice, though. You'll just have to keep watching to find out why. She has an *interesting* back-story.
What about the Demogorgon, why is it in a bag? Is it very valuable because of the defect of having only one head ( I take it, it should have two or ... ?)?
Demogorgon was missing a head so I just left it in the bag. No, I don't think it's very valuable. Leaving Demogorgon in the bag proves that I didn't remove the head myself, and that WotC owes me a head! Also, animating a mini that's still in its bag makes me laugh.
1:00-105 wicked awsome!

I'd like to know: why was there a celebrity poker match in a 1st-level dungeon?
Akoltin 2 years ago
Why not?
swordplusone 2 years ago 4
If they did it on a high-level dungeon at any time high-level enemies could appear. On a low-level dungeon no one would dare to disturb them.

Is that a a large block of ice that chases the group in the preview an actual mini of a Gelatinous cube? I didn't think they were so big!
firedark347 2 years ago
An ice cube would've cost me twenty bucks less, but that is an actual Gelatinous Cube mini.

Ah the Gelatinous Cube the only piece of jello that bites you back

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Episodes 1, 2, and 4 are based on 3rd edition. The other episodes are based on 4th edition.

Those miniatures...they really cost that much? Dang.

Most D&D minis are cheap, but certain rares are pretty pricey. You can find the ones featured in this video cheaper if you shop around.

Awesome camera work and editing, funny jokes.
Though you could use a bit more work on the voices, more so on the girls.
It's an excellent start to a series though, keep it up, I'm interested.
