Let him watch to his picking/fretting hand. if he feels comfortable with it, its better than staring to the wall like he doesnt care, or watches at his bed where his Boyfriend is wanking on him while is playing guitaR :D

It might sound better if you had some good distortion. Try not to look at your picking hand or your fretting hand ALL the time
