  • The Shema in Hebrew has three names for God. The Shema has three parts. The Jewish people pray with three fingers to focus their prayers making the Hebrew character Shin. Judaism has The Thirteen Principles. The second is 2. The belief in G-d's absolute and unparalleled unity. God is an unique one, but it is not Oneness. Go to Jews for Jesus to understand or Hebrew 4 christians.

  • @IrishEddieOHara So explain what "MANIFEST" means. You quoted part of John 14:28 read John 14:9-31 Jesus once again is revealing that he is God manifested in flesh as an example to us, so we know how to live for God as human beings, unperfect, defiled, and unworthy to come to God any other way.Read John 1:10 He was saying that Jesus created the world, but in Genesis it says that God created it. So which one is right? Read 1 Timothy 3:16 manifest.

So did Jesus exist before the birth, or after?

  • @MsJujuC Preach it!

  • @IrishEddieOHara There is a big difference between Adam and Jesus, Adam was by God's on hand and came by virgin birth. God is a title not a name. There are many god's out there and they all have names. God was trying to reveal his name to us. I'm sure you have a name and I'm sure you have a title, but you are still one person. God was showing us through the form of a body how he wanted to be prayed to, worshipped and served. Bible says that God was made manifest and dwelt among us.

  • @IrishEddieOHara There is a big difference between Adam and Jesus. Adam was made and form by God's own hands where Jesus was from a virgin birth. Jesus was God's body God was the soul of Jesus he revealed his name to us, "God" is a title not a name, they're are many god's out there and everyone of them has names. I'm sure you have a name, and I'm sure you have a title but your still one person.

  • @IrishEddieOHara I have a question for you to answer since in YOUR eyes this DOCTRINE and these men are wrong... Can you please tell me why Jesus refers to God as being his father...when in actuality...IF you are correct and there is three persons...shouldn't the Holy Ghost be Jesus' father? After all the scripture does say that the Holy Ghost over shadowed Mary and she conceived and brought forth a son. So explain how God could be Jesus' father if he wasn't the one that over shadowed Mary. (~:

  • Cornelius was saved WITHOUT fallen water works (-:

  • the thief on the cross isn't really even an exception... baptism didnt become a command until AFTER Jesus died/rose and sent his Spirit. i dont know why people always say "well what about the thief on the cross?"

  • These verses all talk about being baptized. ACTS8:35--39 tells a story using full water baptism.

    Acts 2:37-41; 8:5-13; 8:35-39; 9:10-18; 10:34-48; 16:13-15; 16:30-33; 18:8; and 19:1-6

Its common sense to realize baptism means by water......

  • So what you are saying is that Jesus can make exceptions to His commandments? Doesn't that make everything He commands questionable? He could even make an exception to letting us into Heaven if what you are saying is true. Besides, do you have to say out loud that you repent? Maybe the thief repented in his heart, and that is all that matters to God.

  • @ by Gods grace and troddinsod... the thief on the cross didnt even repent, how do u explain that? Jesus does what he wants to but that doesn't change what he COMMANDED in order to be saved

  • @stefanielyn103 Excuse me if I may? We all should read Luke 23: 40-43 for understanding. The thief did every thing that we do when we come to God. At that moment he couldn't baptize with water. But Jesus judged him according to the mans heart in that 11th. hour of life.

There is a differents between being saved and working out our salvation and excepting and seek God with true repentance from the heart on our death bed.

The thief came to God from his heart. And God judged accordingly

  • How do you explain the thief on the cross that made it to heaven without being baptized?

  • NO WHERE in the Bible was the baptism 'INTO THE MAME' of Jesus, associated with water. John the Baptist himself said Jesus would baptize with the 'Holy Spirit & Fire'. So,why are silly,so called Christians, baptizing in water, when the Bible never instructs us to.1Pet3:21,Col 2:8-13<---- Water forbade,& without hands.

Baptism into the 'NAME' of Jesus has nothing to do with water. No where in the Scripture is there a command to be baptized in water.I challenge anyone to show me chapter & verse.

  • @TroddinSod Do you know what Baptism means?

And if so why did the disciples with Jesus Baptize and then continued to do so after Jesus ascended?

    What was thier understanding?

Don't mimic what others say STUDY it's fun and revealing.

When you find out what baptizm means you will understand why we Baptize in Jesus name as the disciples did.

And what the importance of doing it in Jesus name is in the order of believers.

Start :John 3:22 Jesus is teaching the disciples what to do. Yes or No

  • @fathuch "Do you know what Baptism means?" Yes I do, despite your arrogance!

Why don't you simply answer my challenge: Show from the Bible where there is a COMMAND to be baptized 'IN THE NAME of JESUS' with or where there is water.

I've never mimicked what anyone says. That fact is, you're the one who mimics. The proof is in the FACT you can't answer my challenge. This is because you've had inculcated into your hearing pet phrases & cliches that are NO WHERE in the Bible. Go ahead, wise guy!

  • @TroddinSod Effective communication depends on correct concepts, so therefore when you communicate with someone you must make sure that their concept are the same as yours or there will be miss-conception. Teaching is so vital bringing everyone to the right meanings, terminology, and understanding. In John 3:22 what did they baptize in? Your answer is in your Question... And no I'm not trying to come of as arrogant. Please foregive me if I did...

  • @fathuch The Apostles of John the Baptist became the Apostles of Jesus. They were still practicing the same water baptism of repentance. It was a segue period until Jesus' ministry went into full motion. However, as John said, Jesus' baptism would not be with water as John's was. It would be with the Holy Spirit & Fire. Water would be obsolete and never be associated with being 'Whelmed' or "immersed' in the Character & Authority (NAME) OF Christ. It would contradict John's statement.

  • @TroddinSod Cool but show me what scriptures says that the Apostles of John stayed with Jesus And durning this time wasn't John and his followers baptizing in

Aenon. and what about ? John 3:26-27 Also iIdon't see that any of John followers talking to Jesus for any lenght of time till John was in prision before his death? Now as for Jesus ministry Started Math.4:17--Jesus is the example of how we are tolive out our walk on the earth right? So He being the exampleall that he did we are to do.

  • @fathuch "Cool but show me what scriptures says that the Apostles of John stayed with Jesus" John 1:35-40.

John was a Prophet from God declaring God's command. Jesus 'fulfilled all righteousness' obey His Father's word declared by His Prophet. He also was fulfilling High Priestly ceremonial cleansing law. Yet, John is explicitly clear, that Jesus would not baptize with water but with the Holy Spirit & Fire. Therefore, any baptism associated with Christ should NOT involve water.

  • His disciples did and If baptism was against God. Jesus would of stoped it and He himself would not of been baptized in water. The very idea that Jesus would do something that we are not to do Hmmm or we become so religious that we dismiss with disregard to his very work that he completed. Jesus ask are you able (willing ) to be Baptized with the Baptism? Mk 10:39 Are you willing to follow in the foot steps of Jesus? To do what ever it takes to go where He leads. Or is religion stoping you?

  • In the kingdom of God he is the ruler He takes the foolish things to confound.. There God says it and it is. If he doesn't want it, it is gone. Following God is not have it your way it is his way. For He is the Way...I find it truly amazing that religion separats us from the very God we are trying to serve I love having theological discourse . So if God says to you to do something " do it" if you are to wash in the dirtiest river 7 times just do it. Trust God not man. Follow Jesus

Toddinsod Have a great weekend Harvest time is here May our Lord Jesus Bless you CUMon

  • @TroddinSod I made a mistake you were right about Andrew. Wow I do make misstakes I apologize............!!!!!! I don't no what I was thinking I know better. We (I)must always watch what we (I) say and how we (I) say it. Andrew was with John and then with Jesus. But the water baptism still stand Have a Blessed weekend and reach out and touch souls for The Kingdom It's harvest time...Hope to talk to you Monday...

  • @TroddinSod Therefore we follow Jesus and Baptism is in water is our first example by which we are saying that we surrender our selves to the authorty of Jesus and really that is what the water baptism is. It is the outward expression of the inter action of surrendering ourselves to God. When you study baptism and look into the true action of baptism you will find that it is a exceptance ones surrendering to a higher authority as to Christ.

  • @fathuch "we follow Jesus and Baptism is in water is our first example by which we are saying that we surrender our selves to the authorty of Jesus and really that is what the water baptism is" No where in the Bible are we admonished to do such a thing with water. In fact, the whole water business, is a disparagement of the real One True Immersion that is an ongoing, continual, and lifelong 'immersion' of His Spirit 'imbuing' us in discipleship which 'whelms' us in the Character of Christ.

  • Acts 2:38

Baptism | Baptism with the Holy Spirit | Gift of the Holy Spirit, The | Pardon | Repentance

As administered by John Matthew 3:5-12; John 3:23; Acts 13:24; 19:4

Sanctioned by Christ’s submission to it Matthew 3:13-15; Luke 3:21

Adopted by Christ John 3:22; 4:1,2

Appointed an ordinance of the Christian church Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15,16

To be administered in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19

  • @TroddinSod Would please expland your understansing of baptizm, and why it is used even to day? Because with out a understanding this coversation will be over and lives won't be changed... So you seem to like a challenge So here it is tell me what you know... Articulate don't yell--teach......

  • @fathuch Baptism In the Name=Immersion or Imbuement of Christ's Character & Authority. It's brought about by the Holy Spirit Immersion & aided & abetted by discipleship by those gifted to teach.Mt.28:'make disciples..immersing them in the Character & Authority of the Father/Son/HolySpirit' Act2:40-41'with many other words'..'those who gladly received the word were immersed or imbued. Baptism is a life long 'immersion' of the Holy Spirit conforming us, via discipleship, into Christ's Character.

  • sick rap starting at 0:25 to 0:35 ...apostolics breakin' their disobedient doctrine down old school for ya!

  • St. John 1:1-2; Show God with God in God. There is Only One God, who is with God that is God. God is a Spirit, (St. John 4:24) has a Soul (Jer 9:5) and a Spirit (Joel 2:28-29). Not manifested three different ways, are three in one. Just as man is spirit, soul and body, made in the likeness and image of God. The Holy Spirit is eternal dwelling place (body) of God? Rom 14:17. Many believe man flesh is not him, just a dwelling place, But God says mans flesh is man. Gen 6:3.

  • I like to see oneness believers unite. There needs to be less quarreling over sleeves and beards and etc etc.

  • amen

  • OH..my comment is a response to MARCUSLEBEAU's comment..

  • You have taken 1 Cor 1:17-18 out of context. Paul was simply saying that it was not his job (as a saint in the body of Christ) to baptize, but it was his job to spread the gospel. According to Acts 2:38 in order to be a part of "Salvation" one must be repent and Baptized in the name on Jesus Christ in order to receive the Holy Ghost. What is ironic is the passage that you took these verses from actually warns "us" (Christians) about separation (Denominations) among ourselves (1 Cor. 1:10-31).

  • Is it Biblical to shave the beard the way those guys have it?

  • 1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

  • to teach that water Baptism is part of Salvation is pure heresy! I am so glad I am a Baptist, people! Those people are lost, they don't understand Grace. Check this out; 1 Cor 1:17-18 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel, not with wisdom of words lest the cross of Christ shall be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness, but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God!

  • If your so right then why is Jesus the 2nd person in the trinity huh..when he clearly said Rev.22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith...this is true BUT!... faith without works is dead James 2:14 to 26
