@farted333 just because someone is pitchy in areas doesn't mean they can't sing. I am a choir director who can tell these things . Her only problem was that this song's key was too high for her range. If they'd lowered they key by at least 2 keys, she may have been able to get the notes better. @BluffyMS Umineko and Higurashi have no tie except for Bernkastel and Lambdadelta. lambda and Bern were playing a "chess" game. Miyo Takeno was lambda's piece and Bern's piece was Rika. they hint this in Umineko telling that Bern was the winner because lambda got bored.

@katsuyaurusaki - I disagree with Asgard - the tie can barely be considered a spoiler. If you look a picture of her and the 'disc' that floats around her head, it becomes quite obvious who she is. if you play around with her name as well - the easiest hint in her name, one that doesn't need translation, is shortening Augustus Aurora to Au-Au - should bring a certain Higurashi character to mind pretty quickly. :P

(Her Umineko role however is best left unspoiled, though ~)

@Mangaburner There are several characters throughout Umineko that show higurashi and umineko correspond somehow. The two that show this the most are Lambdadelta (I think that is correct) and Bernkastel. I think the creator of both series really wanted the two to work together somehow.

Umineko reveales that Higurashi repeated because it was a game between Featherine (who used Hanyuu as a peice, giving her horns) and Lambdadelta (Takano). Whether Rika lived or died decided who won.

@FatHedgie 'Umineko no Naku Koro ni' is the series. Originally a sound novel, it consists of eight different episodes (or arcs) that tell the story of a mass murder that occurred on an island known as Rokkenjima where the Ushiromiya family was gathered for a conference. While it begins as a typical murder mystery, Umineko quickly spirals into something more complex when the concept of witches, magic and other fantasy elements are introduced. (I apologize for the crappy summary).

@FatHedgie The first four episodes of Umineko, known as the 'Question Arcs,' were adapted into a 26 episode anime that can be found subbed on Youtube. User Uminekoanime has all the episodes uploaded. No dub exists of it. This vocal is of a song from the latter four episodes, known as 'Umineko Chiru', which have not been animated as of yet. It's a great series that you should definitely give a go, but I'd recommend the novels or the manga over the rather poor anime adaptation. Hope that helps! :)

@GarLogan78 Well the chances of Chiru ever being animated are slim to none and slim left town. The sales for the anime where ABYSMAL and it was pretty much a giant failure all around. A fitting punishment for a shitty adaptation.

The only bad part to come from that is that most studios will sadly probably overlook trying their hands at an Umineko anime adaptation which is a shame. A faithful one would be AMAZING and easily one of the best anime of all time.

@GarLogan78 Something around 26ish (I'd lean more towards 30) episodes for the first 4 Arcs would probably be enough. Even then some things might be able to be trimmed a bit as long as the pacing is kept at a good pace and nothing really major (LIKE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!) is cut. That was one of DEEN's BIG Failures, their pacing was very inconsistent.

One episode everything is moving to slow, the next it's to fast. I blame them trying to always end on some kinda cliffhanger, it was dumb.
