@giluis123 The effect comes from the kinescope. THe clip is all the remains of the interview. Some of the footage in the opening was decomposing. Glad we have that clip atleast.
It's wonderful to here these historic figures speaking in their own voices. There is a treasure trove here and well worth the time to listen. Thank you.
TO jeanedarc624 i also find it telling that a people who want to bann abortion are no where to be found after the child is born and ends up in the system(jails, childrens homes, soup lines, homeless shelters) you cant get any of these great anti abortionist to step up pay more tax, collect more food, provide homes for and so on. so tell me which is worse to abort an unborn child or to birth that child and then starve it todeath emotionally and nutricianlly?
Thank you so very, very much for posting this.... I am ashamed to say and admit this is the first time I have heard Thurgood Marshall's voice, which again is shameful with the advent of the internet...Thank you again for posting...
I also find it a little sad that the same person who said "In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay ourselves the highest tribute." also refused to recognize the humanity of our tiniest humans and became instrumental in bringing about a law that causes 4/5 of all black children to being aborted.
i know it's not the person who made the video but this thing is messed up ( it keeps flitching)

There should be a motion picture on the accomplishments of Thurgood Marshall long before any about Malcolm X.....

Be sure to watch "FULL JUSTICE" now on Youtube. It's a brand new ORIGINAL SONG/VIDEO depicting the life and struggles of MLK.

This is a segment of Mike Wallace's interview with Thurgood Marshall on "NIGHTBEAT" {WABD, Channel 5, New York} in late 1956...
