  • chinchillas arent supposed to be held in a fish tank get a proper cage

  • IT'S SO FLUFFEH I'M GONNA DIE!

  • Its also stated, do not put dust bath in your chinchilla's cage. but other than that ADORABLE!!

  • he needs a bigger bowl for his bath..

  • Dirty bath? That's the opposite of what i thought would happen :D

  • Keep pressing 8 , SOOO CUTEEEE.!! ^-^

  • AHHHHHHH!!!! TOO CUTE! DX 0:43

  • im going to get like, 5 chinchillas now.

    ima need a big bowl.

  • 0:43 :')

  • Pro-tip: Bigger dish.

  • ahhhhhhhhh thats the cutest thing ever! now i want a cghinchilla even tho their over $100

  • I love sand baths two! Squeak is so cute xx

  • A chinchilla cage needs to be much bigger than this, and not a tank, a cage as chinchillas are very active animals and enjoy climbing, which is why a big and tall cage is most suited. This is only a temporary tank right? Because its much too small.....

  • please give him a bigger bowl...

  • awww look its a pikachu in his pokeball

  • loi like it when he wipes his nose too!!!!!! :3......guestion: what is he rolling/bathing in???

  • That bowl looks a little small.

  • my dad used to raise chinchilla's. You do not put them in a fish tank!! They should be in a cage. Ours had a run behind the cages & the males could go to any female they wanted. The females had collars on. And where they took their baths wasn't some small bowl it was a big pan.

  • @NancyDYork once again your dad raised chinchillas, so he'd have a big pan in case more than one wanted to bathe, thus a small bowl makes sense for a BABY chinchilla.

  • see if I rolled in flour my mom wud just scream lol its so flippkin cute with its little nose wiping ...abilities

    :D

  • all I have to say is chinchilla rehab :)

  • Cuteness! :)

  • could you please make another video on squeak i wana know how he/she is doing

  • what are you using for bedding? rasin bran?

  • whys it bad if hes in a aquarium yea they need to jump but if u let them out everyday they should be fine

  • @1234567gdog they need the right air ventilation and they would be uncomfortable. which makes them stressed and they get hot when they're stressed and they cant cool themselves off.

  • 0:43

  • i wonder how they take baths in the wild

  • @BioformerCorviz Volcanic dust.

  • @KitsunePimp721 0_o

so theyt blow themselves up and burn their skin off?

  • @BioformerCorviz No...it's just the region where they are found has some volcanoes, and the dust from them is good for their fur. That's why they recreate this stuff and you can buy it in a pet store for your Chin.

  • dust bath..i thought u were supposed to bath them in water...opps :/

  • @basketball727 You mean to tell us that you bathed your chin in water !!

    That can kill them !!

  • @ScottxBoy it could?? really? where i get the dust from then

  • @basketball727 Maybe a local pet store

its a white bag and its not really that heavy

  • @basketball727 How about researching into taking care of your pet before you buy one.

  • @basketball727 no your never supposed to expose your chinchilla to water. Their fur is too think and the water will mold in it.

  • @K0beC Stop spamming the chinchilla videos. This is the 4th or 5th comment you've posted on a 'chilla video. So stop. (You are baiting. So I bit it. So what. You dont know me. You cant hurt me! You ain't got no pancake mix!!)

@All people K0beC has offended- He is trolling. Dont worry, almost no one uses 'chilla fur anymore, and when they do they are killed humanely. No living person who isnt already on death row kills chinchillas like that.

  • Cuteness. :)

  • what is he rolling in? (what kind of dust)

  • 0:44 AWWWww

  • thanks for pointing that out britney we just got one and i read that it is so important for them to have the proper climate in the home, starting with the right cage.petco will price match so look on amazon for a good price, we got a ferret cage and its perfect because it has three levels and is plenty big.he loves it.

  • what a beautiful creature

  • @cutePETlover =[ You left out rats....

  • I'm trying to get my gerbil to do that, so far no such luck

  • @gerbilmaster21 Chinchillas bathe in dust and it's wired into their systems before birth. Gerbils are from a different environment so they won't know what that stuff is.

  • @demonflayme6 I have a chinchilla and for some dumbass reason he never rolls around in his dust... on the other hand he enjoys going over to his chalk stone and try to roll up against that instead :p

  • @fitzpronk Nah I was responding to the guy who tried to get his gerbil to do the same. They wouldn't know what that stuff is.

  • @fitzpronk oh I know I know, I just wanted to point out that my Chinchilla doesn't know what it is either, like its not programmed into his brain :p

  • @demonflayme6 oh, the worker at Petsmart told me that gerbils do it too. Oh well, at least it's something to stimulate him from getting bored.

  • @gerbilmaster21 i tried to get my fish to do it

  • @GiantEnemyCrab63 what?! O.o

  • i miss my chinchilla soo much...

  • omg chinchillas are so cute!

  • Yeah, mine also wipe their nose after bathing :) soooo cute :D

  • This isn't the right place for a chinchilla.Get a big cage and give it a larger space to have its dust bath!!

  • y is skeak doing dat???

  • i love the little nose wipe

  • oh my gosh, my chinchillas cage is like 40 times larger than that. that's so sad :(

  • @melissamoshpit i was thinking that that cage looked way too small for a chinchilla i dont have one (yet) but i know that they need big cages

  • 0:42 lol a nose

  • omg dude its WAY too small. ):

  • no its perfect size

  • My favorite part is when he wiped his nose!!! Oh soo cute. ^-^

  • >D HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • GIVE HIM A BIGGER BOWL

  • i dont get what everyone is one about ? like every1 is saying its crewl , its obviously enjoying itself .

btw how does this bath the animal or whats it do cause wudent this make it messy :P sorry i have no clue about the animal since im from australia

  • This dust there in makes there fur clean

They need this every two days in a week to keep it clean.

  • @reecieboii You obviously know nothing about Chinchilla health and wellbeing. I have had Chins for about 10 years-they have 80 to 100 hairs per individual folicle. They over heat VERY easily. Keeping a chin in an aquarium is dangerous.

  • @hobogirl1254 i have no clue about them at all lol never said i did , did i ?

  • @hobogirl1254 Ok Hobogirl, she just got her chinchilla and it looked fine! Just lay off her, thats not the full size of the tank! why cant you people just say stuff nice... lay off her. :-/

  • @icygirl8199 I never said anything about the person who posted. Just to the idiot who thought it was ok to keep a chin in an aquarium all the time. Just for a dust bath is fine! Follow the convo- I have zero problems with the poster- only idiots in the comment section

  • JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!! LORD HELP SOME OF YOU POOR SICK TWISTED PEOPLE( like

    anilwarrier11)

  • chinchillas should not be in an aquarium. they need somewhere to jump and also it does not provide enough air/ventilation.

  • @Brittany853 I've been seeing a lot of these videos with not enough space or proper environment for these little guys... kind of frustrating :x

  • @Brittany853 looks like he was in a pet store

  • the tub's not big enough! look at the dust spill!

  • i hav a chinchila at home and i always crack up wen he takes a dust bath !

  • Are , My chinchilla had babies 2 weeks ago and now they make cute lil noises XD Bless

Lol they go in the dust bath aswell(lil 1s)

  • lol

  • You have a really cute chinchilla!

  • thats so cute!!!

  • i meant to right of* not or

  • geez this is what i call an inresponable chinchilla owner chinchilla's should never be in a one leveled cage and even worst a glass tank this chinchilla will end up dying due to heat issues.and if you got a glass tank and cheap bedding because or ur money issues you shouldnt have got a chinchilla the bedding will cause a respatory problem. i could actaully call animal control, because keeping a baby chinchilla in a tank is asking for a death sentence

  • @ihavenowebkinz

    please..please.. shut the fuck up.

  • get a real cage!!!they need to jump and run..thats just sad

  • He actually has a wheel and a ball, plus a chinchilla proof room where he has free roam. He just hops back in whenever he wants to!

  • it's sad when people assume things isn't it?

guys why not ask before making a dick out of yourselves.

Cute baby you got there. :)

  • You should never put a chinchilla in a ball!

They will over heat very easily!

  • i love chinchillas

  • So cute!

  • Why do they bath in dust?

  • in order to take off grease and clean their fur.

  • Aww, it's adorable. I remember when my chinchilla was that tiny. I love it when they take their dust bath. It's so adorable the way they roll around.
