Okay, I'm not trying to say that Marcus isn't extremely talented, or that his performance wasn't very moving, but I really think Rachel Crow performed better. Maybe this just isn't my type of music, but I, personally would be much more likely to buy an album by Rachel Crow as opposed to Marcus. Although, I don't think my personal taste is music has ever been particularly conventional. Okay, you all can go ahead and hate me now. :P

Marcus's character is pretty admirable but IMHO I think in order to make it he's goin to have to get some edginess to him. He'd fall into a market similar to Usher or Chris Brown who's cash cow is making teenage girls fall in love with them. I for one didn't vote half as much as I usually do because I was grocery shopping. Marcus was/is considered the underdog. People tend to check out the ones that are a threat to their favorite. After last week scare I have no doubt Marcus will bring it BIG time this week. The votes will keep him at least another week. Have faith.

If you look at the amount of twitter followers you can tell that he deals with a lot smaller fan-base than the other contestants (except Josh, but his target group are not that well represented at twitter). I have no doubt Marcus will bring it BIG, but remember 2 people are going out!
