I know this girl who sings this song. Heather. My chorus teacher had her as a student a long time ago :) she's really great. We're singing this song for our trip down to Disney land when we sing there :D
Great singer, but way off from what I'd imagine Nala to sound like that. Still, I wished that they chose Shadowlands to put into the Special Edition. Can't imagine how they'd incorporate it into the movie with Nala's singer/actress.
Love how it has the score featured in the movie in the overall theme.
@boffinme80 I completely agree, but I think the problem is the deeeeeeply religious undertones. The broadway show as a whole has a lot of religious feel to it, and this one especially reeks strongly of it.
I love this song, it is very fitting for the video you made. Even if it was because Nala was leaving, it does fit Simba's story to. Everything fits together really well. Very emotional, at least to me. Kudos ^^
At school, in my theater group we are doing the lion king and i am nala. this is such a lovely song and actually made me cry. when im on stage i will just think of this video..
I love how this song adds so much depth to character (Nala) that in the movie didn't have much to her and enchanced and made her interesting and engaging.
i remember this when i saw it in the lion king play. so soulful full of african and carribean vibe. i'll never forget watching it. the music was superb.
How could anyone dislike this?

This should have been added to the Special Edition rather than Morning Report!
Anyone else agree?

@boffinme80 Disney always opts for the easy and disappointing way out.
