  • Steve, Great videos! What kind of wood are you using for weight in the 2" bopper? Dell

  • Where do you get your materials?

  • Does the bar code on top of the big billet give it extra weight? LOL

  • no what wuld be a cool a bushcraft butter fly nife twigs for the pins flint for the blade and wooden bottom for the holes for the pins

  • I watched you do the point- awsome. I tried as a kid to knapp and never was showed how- lets just say I never could flake it. i have a question- Im from northeast-new england and our flint is black to dark grey- is there a difference in the hardness with different color flints? and where do you get the kind of stone that you used for this point? Have you ever done any knapping on black/grey flint? Thanks for the video also

  • steve if you get a hammerstone with a nice limestone cortex when your striking right on the edge you will have better results. you can use the harder stones for early reduction when your hiting above the edge.

  • man that stuff makes me think of peanut butter brittle

  • thanks for talking us through the steps again. and thanks to the abocve comment on tennis elbow... I'll keep that in mind when knapping
