Omg she used the wrong word! Let's make fun of her for making an effort to teach! Because I mean being a bartender obviously means you are a rocket scientist to begin with! NO MISTAKES OR THAT DRINK IS GOING TO FUKKEN EXPLODE RIGHT!?
Even if she said "heaviness" I think she did a good job.
Density is the word you are looking for instead of levels of heaviness.... if someone's interested you can try Jagermeister layered with Bailey's. but just make sure the drinks are very cold or add ice.
Next time it might be a good idea to have more than one shot glass on hand rather than having your audience watch you washing and drying one in your video. Not very professional.
Gasoline! the higher the Octane or Alcohol content in the gasoline, the more flammable the Gasoline is. The more flammable it is the lighter the fluid.
So, we conclude with this!
The Lower the alcohol % or proof, the heavier the fluid is...
The higher the alcohol % or proof, the lighter the fluid is...
This makes alcohol layering super easy cuz every bottle is labeled with alcohol %or proof.
Sameson3000 - you're wrong. The reason that the Bailey's floats is it's less DENSE than Kahlua. Viscosity is how much a fluid resists stress, or "thickness" for lack of a better term. Maybe you should check your facts before you start correcting people.
nope, density is mass/volume, meaning, that is how tightly packed a substance is, viscocity is how fast that substance moves or how thick or thin it is. just because a substance moves slowly, doesn't neccessarily mean that it is very dense. :)
how do you call that drink

Or you can just look at the levels of alcohol per part to determine density

@flopy254 It's the same difference, being more dense means it's heavier per unit volume.

Percent alcohol is not a universal standard for layering. I've seen 20% melon liqueur layer underneath just regular pineapple juice.

Tnx ;)

Think about Alcohol is this manner???

The higher the alcohol % or proof, the lighter the fluid is...

Good luck, everyone.

let me know how it turns out! cheers...
CastingStonez 2 years ago
the lower the alcohol content of an alcohol does have higher sugar content... and vice versa...
so the lower the alcohol % or proof = heavier the fluid... it goes at the bottom of the glass...
am I right??? heheh...

90% of the time...

Properly speaking, the correct term would be viscosity. NOT density.
