Historic Charleston, SC - July 2007

I spent bouth summers of 2006 and 2007 in Charleston and i made a lot of friends there. I will always have it in my hart,it was the best time of my life. Hopefully i will have another chance to come back to the USA....

Watch out for the homeless in charleston and the ghetto in north charleston i almost got jumped by 4 people there while one was distracting luckily i had about 5 friends with me and they all jumped out of there cars and came up when they saw what was going on

i love charleston.

i first stopped there about five years ago almost on accident. my parent's and i figured we'd head down to Savannah, GA from Charlotte, NC. [Where I was going to school at the time, originally from MI] We ended up in Charleston. I've been back at least once per year since, most years twice.

Once I graduate with my teaching certificate I'm considering a move down there. Sure beats the MI weather!

Lived in SD. Beautiful place. Unfortunately, it is nothing but a massive suburb. I still loved it though. Sure beats frigid NJ. You learn to appreciate wherever you're at, or else you live miserably.

I love the way Charleston preserves it's historical buildings. It's a beautiful city, in reminds me of New Orleans a little bit. When visited there I remember eating at this restraunt called sticky fingers...lol. I thought it was a crazy name but I loved the BBQ and French fries. It was the best. Can't wait to visit again.

I way prefer the new bridge i feel so much safer on it. when i was little i used to close my eyes when we went over the old ones even though they were really historical

In memory of the 9 Brave Firefighters who lost their lives in June 2007.

Today it was announced that the section of Highway in front of the Sofa Super store will be renamed from historic Savannah Highway to now be named Charleston 9 Memorial Highway.
