  • "Hey kid, you any good at drums?"

    "Eh, I'm alright"

"What size is your bass drum?"

    "26 X 16"

    "O.o You've got the job!"

    " :D "

Haha just kidding dude. Great playing and awesome kit. Well done.

  • when I saw the link to this, I had to click on it. right away. 26" bass drum??? DANG DUDE!!

  • I have a 24 by 16 kick and a 22 by 20the 24 sounds alright but if you want a really nice deep kick sound get a 22 by 20 those sonud the best in my opinion.

  • I might get an SJC kit, 26x24, 10x8, 14x12...thats a pretty unique sound combination :P but I need the BOOM of a big kick, and the punch of the small toms.

  • you might think im stupid

but actuall smaller bass drums sound alot bigger and boomier than the bigger ones

ive read it in many books and i would say just get maybe a 20 or 22

  • youre right dude they do as long as there pretty deep, that gets you an awesome sound! (deep as in depth wise)

  • @Branman1994 Lol don't believe everything you read in books. Bigger drum = more projection and rounder sound. More projection and rounder sound = bigger and boomier. Sorry bro.
