I was born in Samarkand and lived there for most of my life. What a beautiful place, I miss it very very much. So much history and culture is in Samarkand, I would urge anyone to visit it. Thank you for the wonderful video!

I miss walking through the open air bazaars. I was not born there, but I have come to the point where Uzbekistan, Samarkand in particular is as much my home as the United States ever was.

I was born in Samarkand and lived there for 23 years, so right now i am out of my city and miss so much. This city is totally different then others in Uzbekistan, and has an ancient history, people are different compare to other cities in Uzbekistan. The hospitality in this city is 100%. This city is belong to Tadjik/Dari people, never has been mongolian or uzbeks.
