Funny you should mention the canon status of this minigame. At the game end screen for separate ways, you see the case that Ada put the master sample in, but the five purple vials from Assignment Ada are in the top of the case as well.

I used FRAPS to record RE4. If your computer (and free hard drive space) can handle it, then FRAPS is ideal for recording PC games since all you'll have to worry about is sound balance and sound quality, which won't have anything to do with FRAPS itself anyway, so it's fairly easy to get it to work.

You still need to load a cleared save file to be able to buy it, and since AA is unlocked after you beat the main game... I suppose you could say that.

GC: Beat AA to get the CT for the main game.

PS2/PC/Wii: Beat AA to get the CT for SW. Beat SW to get the CT in the main game.

Also, CT = Chicago Typewriter, in case you didn't know.

You could save yourself a lot of time if you looked on GameFAQs or the Resident Evil Wiki or something.

2. Yes, this is the PC version and I'm using a gamepad. I heard the mouse and keyboard controls are screwy, although I haven't used them myself. From what I heard, when the game tells you to, for example, press 1 and 3 for a quicktime event, what you actually have to press is Left Shift and Right Shift. :^S

Same process you'd go through to play it. Either put the game disc in and wait, or open RE4's executable file, depending on what version you're playing. It's seriously the first thing that comes up, then the companies that made the game appear, then the title screen.

I just finifshe dthe game, im confused though, I looked up this site and it says there are two different ways of getting the chicago typewriter. assignment ada and ada mini game.. its 300000 and 1000000 pesetas in the main game ...

On any version other than the Gamecube version, finish Separate Ways and you'll unlock the CT for the main game on any Round 2+ save file. It costs 1,000,000 PTAs.

Finish Assignment Ada and you'll unlock the CT for Separate Ways on any Round 2= save file. It costs 300,000 PTAs.

On the GC version, the only CT you'll get is the one for the main game after you finish Assignment Ada.

Ada's job was to collect the Plaga sample for Wesker and she works for him now because (IIRC) Wesker saved her life in RE2.

Resident Evil hasn't really been renowned for its storyline, so I wouldn't try to think about it too much. XD
