Just drawing six lines inside a box doesn't really give you any way of knowing that you calculated the spacing correctly, does it?

For the third puzzle, in the bottom left corner...you could alternatively have divided it into 2 triangles, (as in the top right), and then subdivided each of those triangles into 2 smaller triangles. That solution seems a little more obvious, to the naked eye, since you have to compute odd rectangular areas in the given solution.

In the 2nd puzzle, an alternate solution is to draw 3 parallel lines, and one perpendicular one: /\/

This is not a correct solution. You have to assume that the lines need to pass THROUGH the points, not just be wide enough to touch some of the points. Otherwise, the puzzle becomes absurd. For example, by using your rules, I can simply draw a single, wide line through all 9 points.
