Best version ive heard so far on youtube. People tend to over do it and make it sound too nice and polished, but you seem to capture the mood and allow the song to play itself without framing it. Good job. I would agree about the high part at the end tho, perhaps leave it out if you cant get it to fit. Keep up the good work.
I'd like to hear it without going into the falsetto for the scat.
And this song needs the kind of blank-faced plain delivery you've given it... the lyrics are such a mish-mash of juxtaposed incongruities that attempting to put some misplaced "feeling" behind them would only come off as pretentious and stupid.
