I don't think it matters whether Mr.Stanford said sorry to Matt Prior or not. What matters is if Mrs. Prior apologised to Mr. Prior as she is as much a guilty party as Mr.Stanford. I agree that he likes the attention, but if you watch the video footage, the girls don't seem upset. They were more than able to say 'no' if they didn't want to, but instead they were waving at the cameras. If it was me, I would say 'no thanks', regardless of whether he was going to potentially give my boyfriend/husband $1 million. Whilst it's smutty of Stanford, you do have to wonder why the girls said 'yes'. Perhaps he's not the only one who likes attention! The debate rages on.
