I've often wondered why Germans are so unwilling to show any form of national pride.
New Zealand is insanely nationalistic - they even run adverts on TV using the national anthem to sell products such as insurance whilst claiming that the rest of the world steals everything from New Zealand (bit tongue in cheek but the sentiment is there). As for countries like Australia and the USA, they're even worse when it comes to nationalistic pride.
