Hello everyone ! I'm french and I don't speak english BUT I can tell you, this alternative version was singing by french singers who were participating at the TV show "Star Academy 3". Their name are : Morganne, Michal, lukas and I don't remember their other names. So its the english version but singing by french singers. I hope my english is not so bad and you understand my text. It was never supposed to be in French... it was just the version of the song that was at the end of the french version of the Lion King 3... I'm tired of saying it over and over again...

Very awesome version of the song indeed. It's a pity that the block head who uploaded this didn't give any details as to who the original singers were thus leaving us to search high and low to find out who sang it. Now I know it was elton john who sang the original. But who sings this version.

The reason why I did not give any details about who sang this is simply that, honestly, I don't know.
I was also quite surprised to hear this version during the end credits of the french version of "the Lion King 3".
I would also like to know who sang this, you know...
