Well, the dinosaurs lived and changed on the earth for 160 Million years and then most of them died off in the last of 6 great mass extinctions. But the little ones with feathers are still doing very well, they are everywhere.

The word Dinosaur was coined in 1841 by Richard Owen, but the King James Bible was not compiled until 1611 & calls them by the correct names- behemoths (lizard hipped) & dragons (bird hipped). Read Bel & the Dragon where Daniel who knew of science (Daniel 1:4) feeds one a mix of pitch, fat, & hair to make one explode in Babylon.
