  • hehe the "T ZONE..."<333

  • try the ELF studio complexion brush for MAC's 129. EXACTLY the same (the use. the handle, the bristles ans size) but softer, not scratchy at all...only for $3. :)

  • lol somebody pop up in the background on your video, i think it was cute

  • sheesh i already said it. i need to stop repeating myself..lol

  • u really need to educate yourself before u reccomend a product. the mac brushes that come in those "sets" are NOT the same quality as the full size pro brushes. the full size brushes are made by hand and are great quality while the ones sold in sets are made by machine and therefore look different and are pure and simple CRAP. as always u get what u pay for.

  • Haha mom was like who is she talking to!!! Lmao!

  • thank you soo much :)

  • Where can you purchase them?

  • Where can you purchase the essence brushes?

  • @boooobear15 cvs

  • in case u don't know this and you really should know, the Mac brush sets are not the same quality as the regular Mac pro brushes, the ones they sell in sets are cheaper cause they are made by machines and the quality isn't good while their pro brushes are made by hand and of course the quality is great. There are no "dupes" for Mac brushes, if you want cheap look alike mac brushes then buy that but they will never be the same quality as the Mac pro brushes. You get what u pay for, always.

  • I heard that rhe coastal scents kabuki on a stick is a dupe for the109 ...

  • Umm the se mac brushes are not as good of quality as are the normal ones. I happen to own some of both and there is a huge difference between them. Thats probqbly why they feel "scratchy" to you. Good video comparison tho

  • Lmfao your mom in the background made me laugh so hard. She looked like "WTF are you doing?!" hahaha

  • For contouring, would you prefer the Mac 168 or 109?

  • this video is awsome!!! thanx, really helps as I hate spending a lot!!! (cheapskate right!)

  • Which MAC eyeliner brush do you recommend? The 209 or the 210? Is the 210 a little flimsy?

  • Theres better dupes for all of these brushes including the 217 at Michaels. The low cornell detailed and textured paint brushes are 100% the same as 90% of the MAC brushes for a huge fraction of the price. Made out of the same hairs and everything.

  • i love that woman in the background.. ahhhaha

  • the mac holiday collection sets arent as soft as the full size ones

  • lol i really like it when the people that appear in the background of your videos haha

and very random question, what is the best blush brush you have ever used? i was considering mac 116 or mac 129 but i've always been told they are coarse.

  • @HerCandySh0p I really like using a duo fiber brush for blush like the sigma ss 18. The mac blush brushes are not very soft so I wouldn't really recommend. The sephora brand ones are better and cheaper. But I recommend just any duo fiber brush. sonia kashuk has one too. I hope this helps

  • Amazing vid! Thanks (:

  • Awesome channel and video, pretty girl! I had to subscribe! You are so radiant and lovely. ;-)

    xoxoxo

  • would you consider doing maybe like a.. MAC dupes with only strictly drugstore brushes?

  • Why do you like the MAC 239 better than the Sonia? I wished you said why.

  • @JenniViZ The sonia kashuk one is a bit scratchy on my eyes and it's not as soft or as dense as the mac one.

  • so you would choose the essence of beauty foundation/concealer brush over the mac ones?;]

  • @dorki08 yes but I would choose the sigma ones over the Eob ones:)

  • Great review. Essence of beauty brushes are similar to the higher priced department store brushes. The average cost per brush is 10 dollars or less. That duo pack you have is just 15 dollars at CVS drugs. Thanks for the info. I see future Christmas presents for my friends and family who love makeup brushes like MAC.

  • Theres a studio tools brush dupe for the mac 187 at target, it's 6.99 and is more dense than the mac by at least double the hair =]

  • Whats the best non expensive kabuki brush?

  • Thanks for sharing! :)

  • do u have the MAC 130??? if so what would u suggest 4 the dupe??? even the sephora lable is hi!!!!

  • mac brush sets are usually scratchy because they are not hand made

  • yea i heard the sets arent really of good quality like the full size versions

  • @0sassy0gurly0 they're not and thats because the set brushes are made in bulk by machines while the mac pro full size brushes are made by hand so each is unique and of great quality.

  • I have the 226 brush and I have some really good dupes too from Coastal Scents. One is the Italian Round Crease Brush (its a little more compact but perfect brush) also the Stiff Tapered Crease (really close to the 226~excellent dupe)!

  • The contour end of the double ide brush is a dupe for the 109

  • i was just told that Revlon has a good dupe for the 226

  • Yeah I have that brush, but it's not as thin or pointy.

  • Hi. I don't have a Costco any where near me,is there any other brand that can dupe the 266,217 or 222? I need a good brush like that. Thanks for posting!

  • The 266 is an angled liner brush and it's not like the other 2 that you mentioned but you can find an angled liner brush pretty much anywhere. I know ecotools and essence of beauty has an angled brush. I honestly haven't found any good dupes for the 217 or 222, those brushes are just too unique. sorry.

  • @patrioticraven REVLON Crease brush is a black hair version of the 217. it works really well for the crease, applying, and blending. its like 6 or 7 dollars and is available at ULTA!

  • Excellent video!

  • Thank you for watching!

  • for the mac 187 there is a good dupe from target, youshold try it out , the brand is "StudioTools" and i believe its called uo-fiber brush? i dont remember but it has a flat black handle , its awesome for only $6 !

  • Yeah I've heard of it before thanks for letting me know

  • Where do you buy the essence beauty duo brushes?

  • CVS.

  • where do you store your double ended brushes?

  • I have them in a small drawer by themselves. If you watch my makeup collection and storage videos, I show you.

  • Cheap 187 dupe at Target. Brand is Studio Tools, I believe I paid like $8. I noticed, Coastal Scents recently added a brush that is similiar to the 187. ;D

  • Oh you're right there's a pink coastal scents duo fiber brush, but I heard it doesn't work as well. Thanks for the tip though :)

  • No, there's a new black one.

  • heey , do you know any dupes for the angled brushes (the one best to apply the mac fluidline) im not sure the number i think its like 209? LOL not sure, but do you know any good dupes?

  • At sephora, you can get a really great angled liner brush by TheBalm for only $8. I use it in some of my tutorials if you want to see it. That is what I use to apply my fluidline. I have the mac 266 brush and I don't like it at all it's scratchy, too hard, and it hurts my eye. The 209 is like a fine tipped pointy brush which is also good but sonia kashuk has brushes like that for a lot cheaper. And honestly, it's easier to apply fluidline with an angled eyeliner brush like the one from TheBalm.

  • EcoTools ;D

  • I really enjoy your videos:) I like listening to them while I do my makeup or housework, lol. What happened to your friend you started making videos with?

  • Thank you I really appreciate it and I'm glad you like them. Well we're both really busy so it's hard for us to get together and make videos so we make individual ones but she's been really busy. We'll be making more videos together soon though. Do you have any video requests you'd like me to do?

  • the other difference of the se and regular mac brushes is that the se ones are not hand made like the regular ones thats why there scratchy.

  • Really? cuz the mac artist told me that the brushes were exactly the same and both handmade. Plus, I've heard most of mac's powder brushes are scratchy even the regular ones. Maybe you're right though I'm not saying you're wrong.

  • do you have the mac kabuki? the 182? i have heard great things about it but its like $45! i cant see spending that.... do you have any good alternatives?

  • Yes I love the Mac 182 kabuki is so soft and so dense and it's the best brush for applying mineral foundation or any powder. Another good kabuki brush is the sephora professional kabuki brush ($24), the too faced retractable kabuki brush ($28). Even cheaper versions would be a costco kabuki brush by kirkland, a sonia kashuk kabuki brush from target, Most sonia kashuk brushes are excellent quality. Posh has a good kabuki brush. Costalscents has some cheap kabuki brushes but I haven't tried them.

  • I have the kirkland brush set and absolutely love them! Your review is GREAT! Very helpful!

  • Yeah I love that set. Do you have the new set with the black handles or the old set with the white handles? They have different brushes but they're both great quality. Thanks for watching.

  • I have the new 2009 set.

  • oh cool me too. Do you think I should do an in depth review on it? like on how to use each brush and what not?

  • yeah deffinately. It would be helpful to see how you use the brushes for multipurposes.

  • awesome video

  • Thanks I'm glad you liked it:)

  • I don't know which I like more, make-up or the brushes to put it on! Helpful review! Thanks for posting!

  • Haha I know exactly what you mean. Thanks for watching I'm glad you liked it.
