Both are good animes but i love OP more than FT. I enjoyed watching FT but the only thing i hate is the jokes? The jokes are a bit off, its not funny as OP. Plus some of FT chars. reminds me of OP chars. But it is still good but OP is a legend :p
You need to take into account that one piece is about 4-5 times as long as fairy tail. FT is only about as long as one piece up to the end of the Arabasta arc, so i'm only counting what happens until then, and there aren't nearly enough strong people then. Fairy tail wins this one

@RTKTS natsu usually fights with fire magics not natural skills, normally, natsu couldn't match up luffy's speeds and he doesn't have the fighting skills that luffy has, only unless natsu uses DRAGON FORCE which is his strongest magic, but luffy also has haki too.

in my opinion, luffy can scrap in any kind of situation, but natsu is weaker than a guard once he lost his magic, it has been proven in recent chapters.
Luffy isn't a kid who just ate a cursed fruit, he trained under his grandfather whom is notoriously known in the marines for being one of the few strongest. He never had a pampered life and lived with mountain bandits, they pretty much trained similar to how Krillin and Goku did when they he was a kid. Luffy's an idiot but when it comes to combat he's all of a sudden a genius. He's gotten stronger fighting along his journey and Gear 2nd adds on to his strength and speed,Gear 3rd is devastating.
Luffy's way stronger than this video makes him seem. You should have had Luffy kicking giant Moria's ass or doing some Gigant Moves... that would've really put his power in perspective. Natsu doesn't stand a chance, even with Dragon Force :P

There is not a single person in that guild that can take luffy in a straight up fight, he'd demolish them. and dont mention gazille being made of steel as a retort. because the strahats already beat enimies who could harden their bodies to various degrees stronger than steel depending on strength, the CP9. Zoro the crews first mate cut steel even earlier.

@SymbioteDude123122 i've read the fairy tail comics pretty far. i stopped at edras to be honest because i reached my limit with the series. Fairy tail just rips off alot of things one piece and DBZ in the episode you have mentioned. Natsu is strong yes, i admit its just that hes NOT stronger than luffy, if i had to measure natsus strength with luffy, id ssay the only time he stood a chance was at arlong park.

@SymbioteDude123122 srry but luffys strength is not equal to natsus. hes stonger than natsu by miles. i do not like fairy tail but im not bias i try to be fair. like somebody already stated if aquarias drowns luffy its over because of his devil fruit ability BUT drowning his is not easy. it would take him only ONE hit to beat anybody in fairytail and i read both so im judging from experience. some wil say its exageration but not really one solid hit from luffy and its over.

@metall1carulezzyou I already left too many comments, but I feel like proving you wrong. Luffy's arm has already touched molten gold and has had his arm encased in it. Fire or no fire, Luffy's punch is still far more powerful :D. Watch One Piece before you comment. The episodes you saw in english don't count. Luffy is too fast for Natsu anyway. Luffy would probably have as much trouble with Natsu as he would with a random weak bad guy that shows up in only 2 episodes. Luv FairyTail BTW.

Hmm...Well i've watched both anime's and can conclude that it would be a VERY close battle, Luffy's stretchyness would probably allow him to throw back lots of Natsu's attacks, but then again, when Natsu get's pissed His power Grows,And some Physical attacks Luffy would be bruttaly damaged by, and Luffy DOES have his gears....Idk to be honest

@RTKTS natsu usually fights with fire magics not natural skills, normally, natsu couldn't match up luffy's speeds and he doesn't have the fighting skills that luffy has, only unless natsu uses DRAGON FORCE which is his strongest magic, but luffy also has haki too.

Luffy isn't a kid who just ate a cursed fruit, he trained under his grandfather whom is notoriously known in the marines for being one of the few strongest. He never had a pampered life and lived with mountain bandits, they pretty much trained similar to how Krillin and Goku did when they he was a kid. Luffy's an idiot but when it comes to combat he's all of a sudden a genius. He's gotten stronger fighting along his journey and Gear 2nd adds on to his strength and speed,Gear 3rd is devastating.

Luffy's way stronger than this video makes him seem. You should have had Luffy kicking giant Moria's ass or doing some Gigant Moves... that would've really put his power in perspective. Natsu doesn't stand a chance, even with Dragon Force :P
