They sure took a while before vanquishing the demon. 11 seconds before starting the spell and after throwing the potion. If it was me, I would start the spell immediately after throwing the potion.

@mitmfan i think they had to have him in the middle of being vanquished, like right before he heals himself and after they throw the potion.

I think she's supposed to, but she never fights PHYSICALY so we never get to see if she does afterwards. If she doesn't that's a plot hole right there.
