I went through the same thing but my recovering took longer due to a wound reopening. It was the one by my belly button. Anyways, I was in the hospital not even 24 hours. Went home the same day. Was REALLY sore. Hurt to even walk.
Pt. #2 As for my recovery, I must say that God has been good and I have truly healed well. I am still a little tender on that side at times, so I don't really sleep on my right side as much anymore. With that being said, It's good to know that all is well with you!
@JesusIsLoveTR it's crazy how you can go thru something and ur focus is still on ur kids because i was the same way.I guess the meds wasn't so harmful to ur lil one.I knew I would be okay too because I prayed and just let god deal with the rest and just prayed that he guided the doc hands through the process.I guess everyone after effects are a lil different because my tummy don't bother me as much. But thanx and i'm so happy to hear that ur doing better as well ;)
Pt. 1 Yes it was very scary, but I knew Jesus would definitely take good care of me. The terrible part is that I wasn't even concerned about myself. I was wondering how I was going to nurse my child if I had to be admitted to the hospital and having to take all of those narcotics! My baby cried for me for 45min straight that night because I wasn't there. I sure pumped some milk for my boo though. She was a little "sleepier" than normal because of the meds, but the docs gave me the go ahead.
I am trying to wrap my mind around this vid right now! You and I were LITERALLY in the hospital for the same surgery 2 days apart from one another. My daughter was ALSO just 4mos new when I ended up in the ER. That's just crazy to me right now! My hubby thought I was trippin when I told him I was having pain in my side (bcuz I rarely get sick) but when I projectile vomited at him, He got our baby girl ready and we were out of that house at 2AM! Girl, I feel ya!
@JesusIsLoveTR wasn't that a scary thing?I didn't know what to expect all I heard was surgery and apart of me was like nooooo! but the pain was so bad I just wanted it out!I'm feeling so much better now thank god,how are you feeling?do you still have lil complications after the surgery?
@layshasmommie yes it is very scary,i did not know what was going on and once I heard surgery I went crazy lol,but im great and happy it over with and eating better n trying to take better care of myself.....Your baby name is laysha? My name is alaysha lol
Something like this happened to me in january! One day i woke up with this sharp pain in my right side, the next day i went to the doctor and they thought it was my appendix so i went to the hospital and they did an ultra sound and found out i had gall stones so two days later i had it removedand the day after my surgery the surgeon came in and told me that he was surprised that my side had only hurt for a couple of days because when they took it out it was very sick!!
@applesrcool9 wow so u wasn't feeling any pains prior to it just hitting in jan.?That's strange!I was having it off n on but it became worse as time went on.Mines was badly inflamed ugh!aren't u glad its over with and u don't have to deal with it anymore?i felt so free from it. Happy ur feeling better!! :)
Ive had 5 surgeries and i have a problem my doctor thanks i have something wrong with my gallbladder. The ER does not help when they take a looks at the gallbladder on an ultersound just only one quick picture and that is it.ive had problems with my stomach since i was 12yrs old and now i am 17yrs old.its painful really painfull i just want to get back to myself.i am going for another ultersound on monday they are going to actually look at it this time
@fyresdotter@fyresdotter maybe you should go to a different hospital and have them check that out because to have that for 5 yrs is crazy.if it is your gallbladder and ur not getting it treated it can def get worse n travel....i know on the ultrasound i seen the gallstones they were shiny it def was noticeable...but hope things go well for you keep me updated with what's going on!!
I am freaky scared to have mine out. i've died on the "table" before and now afraid of surgery, coma, and more pain drama etc,i'm a chicken and its infected i think:( any advice???
@kristiannamae Yea i was so nerous myself becuz i thought i would feel them inside doing their work lol.But i was knocked out the entire time of course.I was at the point where i rather had the surgery then to deal with the pain,it was so painful that i couldnt eat because whatever i ate started the attack.I say get it done before it gets worse and more has to be done because they told me it was at the point where it was going to affect my liver. If you wait to long the problem will only get wors
Wow girl. I'm glad your okay! I just got out the hospital last Friday from having the surgery done. I had to have two surgeries. Mine was like yours. It was effecting my liver and I developed a severe infection. But I'm doing so much better now. :)
@adnwahs87 thanx..wow two surgeries??Happy to hear ur feeling better urself.Mines was almost at the point to where urs was. It's pretty scary to not know what's happening with ur body and knowing that you have to get something surgically removed
wowww this is crazy cuz my husband just had a sharp pain come over him at exactly 12am on valentines day and the Dr thinks its his gallbladder to..wow..oh and i kno how u feel right after having ur son u go back in the hospital..i didnt even get that i got 2 weeks then back in the hospital for almost a month lol..im glad ur ok and making progress..take it easy
I was just thinking about you this morning. I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. Make sure you really take it easy and try not to lift those sweet kids of yours more than you have to. Take care and feel better soon xo
@jetsgirl9 thank you, imma hit u up later on so we can talk...yea my daughter tries for me to pick me up but i can't they said i can't lift anything over 15lbs so my son is 2lbs away from being ditched..lol
