  • How did you get it to burn rubber like that? I have a 2012 Ram Crew Cab and I would like to modify the exhaust system. Did you order it online or a local garage shop?

  • @1degama

Brake Torqued it to make it burn rubber....Just put it into Gear , turn off the ESP, hold the foot brake in and let her rip!!!...Dont burn those 20 inch tires off though, so take it easy...

I ordered the exhaust kit online at Mufflex.com...

  • am trying to decide between the 18" & 14", how bad is the interior drone when cruising with the 14"?

  • @chrisatolla86

It isnt that bad......I highly doubt that it will make much difference between the 14 or the 18 since the 18 is only 4 inches longer.....Go with the 14, you wont be disappointed....

  • it kinda sound like you have an intake do you or no

  • @asdfjk7552

    Just the stock intake....no modifications

  • i like dodge but its not made as a work truck

  • @beastly789100

Dodge diesels are most certainly one of the best work trucks...Even way back in world war II alot of the military trucks were DODGE..........

  • @09Ramman oh i know the diesels are i love those for a work truck but im talking bout the one like you have its not made for true work but i still like your truck

  • @beastly789100

    THANKS!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL Car!

  • i like the dodge, and they were the last of them to lower the truck closer to the ground.

but they looked better jacked up a little....i hear the 2011 have a 20mpg rating for the hemi...is this true?

  • @odmcarp They didnt lower the truck at all, in fact it even comes stock with 20 inch rims and tires. Mine is a 2009 and it is also rated at 20 mpg highway, which it gets if you dont keep your foot into the gas pedal

  • Sounds awesome!! I do think the blue paint, while nice, doesn't look as bad/mean, as say, one in black.

I have a 2010 ram with stock exhaust, and while i really like the sound of the magnaflow, I have a bad feeling I am going to get sick of the constant noise/roar. Do you ever feel like it's too much? i wanna know be4 i buy.

  • @msrednic I take it your truck is black!!!.........Trust me, you wont get tired of the noise, in fact, the cab of the Ram is pretty quiet. It is a nice rumble that you hear, not a roar!........I have never felt that it is too much. If you drive it "sensible" you can hardly even hear the exhaust....But then again, I always seem to have my foot to the pedal so I CAN hear it...Bottom line, you can adjust the "noise level" as you call it by the way you drive....You will be happy if you purchase it

  • Please do some more exhaust clips, it sounds great.

  • @iXetsuei

Thanks!!....When the weather gets a bit nicer around here I do plan on making a few more vids.....So stayed tuned!!!

  • does it sound weird going down the highway?im asking because i assume you have the shutting cylinders thing goin on.

  • @underarmour80 When the MDS kicks in and drops to 4 cylinders it does tend to have a drone but it isnt too bad....The best thing to do for that is to totally disable the MDS by use of a programmer such as the Diablo Sport Predator. Many have disabled it and have not noticed any decrease in gas mileage from disabiling the MDS....

  • Just ordered this muffler as a result of watching your video. Should come in soon! Did you put it on by hand or gun?

  • @TheSunYea I put it on by hand....the old muffler and tailpipes slipped off easily..It only took me about 45 mins total to swap out mufflers. Dodge did a smart thing by attaching the stock exhaust system with clamps instead of a solid welded system. Makes this mufflex installation a SNAP to do!....I know you will like the sound of the magnaflow 14 inch muffler....Post a vid when you get it complete...would like to hear it.....Good Luck!!!

  • Should have opted for the Chrome Rims bro! I instisted on it with mine. Looks much better but that truck sounds awesome. Nice burnout! Neighbors prob appreciated it too! LOL

  • @TheSunYea

Actually I opted for the alloy rims!!!....I had them on my last Ram and I love how easy they are to take care of....Plus I like the looks of them rolling down the road. Check out my other videos after I got the striping done and the hard tonneau with the spoiler wing put on...You will notice the color of the stripe matches the color of the rims! That was my plan

    Yeah, my neighbors LOVE ME

  • @TheSunYea

My truck has the chrome rims and I am disappointed in them....its chrome plastic hub cap basically :(

  • @flaminchiten

The plastic ABS rims look good from a distance but when you get close or tap them I know it is disappointing. You should have made it a point to get the real chrome steel rims or the alloy rims like I have on mine...I am sure they would cost you a bundle to buy them now....But the plastic caps dont look bad and they will never rust, so that would be a good thing....

  • With a good enigne like this i would have gone with a flowmaster. not magnaflow. mangnaflows are to quiet. you wanna bring out all 390 ponies you put a super 44 or original 40 on there. Still bro it sounds good and magnaflow makes great mufflers.

  • Did you lose any low end power? Does it feel sluggish at low RPMs?

  • @SvB4EvA

I did not notice any loss of power whatsoever. The only thing I noticed was the ROAR of the HEMI!!!

  • @09Ramman lol, alright cool

  • COOL .

  • Did you remove the resonators?

  • @xxmaskedwolfxx

NO, All resonators are still in place. The only thing I did was replace the muffler.

  • @09Ramman I just got the ss 14" Magnaflow welded on today at a friends muffler shop... I left the resonators in place and it sounds nice... Basically identical to this kit... I think they are the same just one is weld on, and the mufflex is the do it yourselfer... I may remove the resonators, not sure... i heard it will get much louder with them off... I think I will wait to see how it sounds if its broken in...

  • @xxmaskedwolfxx

It will get louder as time goes on......Careful removing the resonators....If you lose too much back pressure you will feel a loss in power....Have fun with it....The muffler makes that HEMI sound so much sweeter to the ear!!!

  • Very nice your truck, it is very power........i love the DODGE RAM 5.7L HEMI

  • Notice any power gains? I'm looking into an aftermarket exhaust for my 09 Ram but there's just so many options and opinions out there Im just not sure yet. I'm looking for whatever setup that adds the most power.

  • @FGhomie09 I didnt notice any HP gains with just doing a muffler change..., if you let the exhaust flow more free and couple that with a good CAI then you will see HP gains.....It sure sounds SWEET tho......

  • @09Ramman Yes indeed it sounds good! I bet you get tons of compliments. Thanks for the info btw...

  • I would reccomend getting the 14 inch magnaflow mufflex kit. They now have a MUFFLER DELETE setup but be careful and check your laws about driving around with no muffler. Trust me, the 14 inch muffler sounds great and it has that low hemi rumble when it is idling. I get tons of comments about the sound.

  • how did the retrofit install work out? it says no welding required. Do you have any exhaust leaks if you didnt weld?

  • @wakeboarda1234 The retrofit install was VERY easy. The stock muffler slipped off easily and the mufflex muffler already had the tailpipe extensions welded onto the muffler. All you had to do was to slip the tailpipes together, use the existing hanger brackets. The only thing I would reccommend is to get somone with an air rachet to tighten the clamps. I did have a few issues with exhaust leaks at the clamps until I got a friend to tighten them snug with the air ratchet.

  • my flowmaster doesnt get any drone, but all i did was the muffler only i left the resinators on..

  • @XxCRAZYBUDxX I have the 14 inch magnaflow. the drone isnt bad but you can hear it at around 65 mph. Alot of heads turn when I go down the round. It has a distinct hemi rumble to it. Check out my latest vid where I have the leer fiberglass cover on it. This is the first new ram I have seen that has the hard cover.

  • sounds good

  • Any drone out on the highway????

  • @yamran

There is a little drone at about 65 mph but not overly excessive. If you have the radio on you dont really hear it.
