@thespacialone It wouldn't be logical for me to share your view on miscegenation as that forms a proportion of my genetic make up. My parents were born in Jamaica & both share some European ancestry - mom's quarter Portuguese, a lesser amount Asian and dad's an eighth Scottish. Mixing is common & acceptable in Jamaica - much less racial tension/segregation there as opposed to the US, say. I can understand why miscegenation would be frowned upon in areas where racial tension does exist though.

Have encountered some form of discrimination or the other but it's the same across the board (from black people also). If I were to attempt a counter of your argument though I'd highlight racism in European football, or soccer as you folks say. Possibly the high stop and search rates of black youths by police in the UK. I hear about it quite often though I haven't been searched myself.

My parents were born in Jamaica & both share some European ancestry - mom's quarter Portuguese, a lesser amount Asian and dad's an eighth Scottish. Mixing is common & acceptable in Jamaica - much less racial tension/segregation there as opposed to the US, say. I can understand why miscegenation would be frowned upon in areas where racial tension does exist though.

This is because (omitting rape) people ultimately choose who they want to procreate with and many will share your exact views. Minorities have more of an oppurtunity in this country to succeed than anywhere on earth and they still blame whitey for their shortcomings and cry racism. In other countries there is no welfare,no affirmative action,no naacp, no southern poverty law center, no EOE act, etc. But we are racist.
