  • You arms should only go to 90 degrees. Also, the dumbbell press exercise doesn't workout all three parts of the deltoid muscles.

  • @icemuzic depends on you, try diff weights out, if yur looking to build muscle go heavy and make sure after bout 10 reps yur struggling a bit, then rest and repeat for bout 5-6 sets, if yur jst wanting to tone yurself and not wanting much mass just go for sumthing like 5-6 kilo's and increase the reps to about 20

  • Maybe if you are using light weights, but if you are using heavy, 90 degrees is where most stress happens and any farther, you risk injuring the ligaments when you go heavy.

    So 90 degrees is all you need for a workout..... BUT I agree full range is better with LIGHT weights, but if you go heavy, 90 degrees is best and less chance of injury.

  • that is what u should decide. Well for me its diffrent im diesel so i use 50-60 lbs 4-8 reps. Never lose teqnique for weight!!!! I noticed something this guy was doing that not most lifters do: he doesnt keep his arms at a 90 degree angle after he goes down, it gives u a better burn if u keep them at 90 degrees.
