  • Should I upload the same version but louder?

  • Thankyou so much for posting this masterpiece....I just wish the volume was higher.

  • Where is this 1 GUY WHO DONT LIKE THIS SHOW UP YOUR FACE MOTHAFUCKA

  • God love em...look at Dermot with his dark hair!

  • Love them, they sang happy birthday for my bro one time when they were just testing Atlantic Canada. Dermot was the cats ass, and Fergus (or Frogie as Dermot called him drunk) and Dennis those men could harmonize like you wouldn't believe

  • Ahaha, the big guy at 1.40 sure knows how to clap like a man.

  • Was not the PE room, I asked my Dad, he was a reg, no it was not even the basement room. As the poster said he "thought" it was a PEI bar, but couldnt say for sure. What my dad siad for sure is it wasnt PE room although I know Ryans played there often

  • Absolutely the best version ever.....Will never be bettered...............

  • right channel missing here, too? is that possibly a mistake in your system? streets of london is left channel only, too

  • Ah when music had a soul and was part of a culture

  • Absolutely brilliant stuff altogether! Best version of the Rocky Road I've heard apart from Luke Kelly, this was amazing!

  • Rest in peace Dermot, you look quite at home behind that bar :)

  • Absolutely amazing, best version on the net. Damn hard song to learn but I'll keep trying. Saw a more recent video of this and Fergus hasn't lost a thing, way to go man. I hope to see them play someday.

  • Best version of this song on the internet!

  • yes yes!! Good stuff.....i went 2 a yard sale this weekend and bought a bunch of recoards(An irish night at the black knight lounge)was one of them!

  • God how I love pub life!

  • LOVE IT!

  • Thank you for this- my parents are in the audience- we grew up on Ryan's Fancy, they were friends of our parents.

    Often imitated, never duplicated!

  • Top this ! !

  • For me the best version of this extreme-hard-to-sing song. He is in timing (and in tune) all the time with the audience fast claping. Respect!

  • на 2:02 какой-то чувак кричит: "Давай!)"

  • 2:02 ДА ДАВАИ. ххаахахахаха

  • He says "the boys" because the verse starts with "the boy of Liverpool"

  • soo impressed am I

  • This is brilliant. I wish someone would remaster all of Ryan's Fancy stuff and sell it digital! I'd be the first guy with my money out for everything they've ever recorded.

  • @FreshWaterOtters

I'd be right behind you- my records are still here, but unplayable!

  • @FreshWaterOtters I've converted several of their albums into digital form, including "All New Songs" and "Dark Island". If you find a modern record player and the right software it isn't very difficult, but nowhere near as cheap as just buying it one the internet so I understand you sentiment.

  • @FreshWaterOtters

See "What a Time!" CD, released this year, Brilliant 2 CD collection with something on fifty tracks.

  • Rocky Road to Dublin accapella? Off the charts boys! Love it! Fergus , your voice is one of the best!

  • 1:40 - 1:45 ... this guy is amazing .. :-D

  • Fantastic!

  • trying to 'cover' this song in an Oirish band I play guitar for - it's virtually impossible!! These guys are abs. superb!!!

  • love this song. great performance. thanks!

  • so whats up where are you guys actually from newfoundland irelad

hopefully one of the other anything but ontario

  • Amazing version of this song, Denis Ryan from the band is my second cousin.

  • the boys are awesome

  • This is priceless.

  • I am a "Calgarian in a Newfie hat" but music like this makes me homesick.

  • OMG remindes me of my times spent in Newfoundland.... good times..... good times

  • Interestingly enough, I managed to find contact information for Mr. Fergus, and he responded withing 24 hours!

  • That's my uncle! He's fantastic.

  • wow, you have a VERY awesome uncle! Do you think he'd sign my mandolin when I go to Newfoundland next?

  • Fergus is fuckin' amazing. Wonderful clip, thank you for posting this.

  • I haw listened to about 4 or 5 versions of Rocky Road to Dublin but this version is buy far the best of the best. I have even learned to sing it whit this song. P.S Is there an celtic group on You Tube and if there is how can i join?

  • Luke kelly and the Dubliners version is just as good or even better...

  • of course

  • Fantastic! They can truly sing! It is not easy to sound so good without music!

  • This song is the ultimate,Irish song.2nd to none.

  • Love this song!!!
