Garter carriage on speed

Elaine Cater (UK) may still sell her garter carriage attachment that does speed up the GC. It clamps onto the table and has arms that hang down and change the direction of the GC by pushing the switch on the top of the GC - and you adjust it to do this at the very edge of the knitting, so you save that turn around time too.

I picked it up from the Knit Knack Shop at one of their seminars about two and a half years ago. I see them on eBay pretty regularly.
