i was bored and i had nothing to do on minecraft for a while then i saw this and made my own ticker display that uses T Flip-Flops on the input so there is no need for a reset button (simply because i dont like reset butttons). Then i came back to this video and left this comment.

(I'm a newbie with redstone but I do know about repeaters..) When you're programming redstone, you can only place up to 15 redstone tracks connecting to whatever you're powering. So when you put down a repeater, the 15 count restarts and you can make longer paths.

What he should have done is have 27 buttons, one for each letter, and an Enter button. (probably buttons for each number also) You press the buttons in the order you want them to appear, then hit the Enter button. (Only flaw I see with this, you would have to wait a few seconds after picking each letter/number/symbol.)

It's not that hard. when you press down the mouse button, you give pressure to a plastic pressure "Censor" wich then opens a channel for electricity to come in. Then the power goes over to the wire. and the computer gets the signal, and then the computer reads the message. and makes a "click"
