then she turned from me."" all mean? With the previous verse it sounds like it's either a shot at someone (calling the dude a girl) or its about the person discovering they are gay. Care to explain?
At that point in the song, it goes into a story inside a story in a way. I was sharing stories with a guy I liked. I spilled my guts to him and told him about the only woman that's ever broken my heart. I had a really good friend that let her own insecurities destroy our friendship. The part of the song was me telling him about how it all ended.
I saw this live, and just so you know your CD is now circulating a small group of people in sherwood park, and you most definately have my support. When the completed CD comes out, I'll be sure to pick it up. You have a real musical talent, and for that i tip my hat to you.
I really love that progression after the chorus. What is that, A minor, G, G/F# and E? Powerful. c:
