This song is "really touch?" This song is easy as shit, man. Maybe you weren't cut out for drums. Abe is one hell of a powerful player..but all his stuff is extremely basic. Try covering songs by a band called the Locust. Dont' get me wrong, man..you're a good drummer...but you could be alot better.

Abe is very... Technical. Each beat, each ride, and eat note is well heard. He may not be fast, but he isn't simple. Double pedaling and blast beats are "simple." There are different styles of being "good." It all depends on what you are into. Fast doesn't necessarily mean the drummer has the beast chops.
MephisolsMyGod is 100% right...blast beats and double pedaling lack creativity..and A LOT OF it. Abe will always be one of my fav drummers for being such an emotional player. And for the record, I ONLY use single bass pedal, sir
Don't limit yourself just because you think it lacks skill. I use a double Pedal for fills and the such, and if done well, the double pedal can increase a sound instead of decrease. Even Abe uses it on Adrenaline and some of Around The Fur. I agree that Abe is an emotional drummer, and I get a lot of my inspiration from his work.
not bad but i would work on your right foot work because you hit the bass drum a little to much when you your not supposed to... just a little constructive criticism.
